However, he has you accepting the idea that he will get this new PayPal account set up "right now" so you won't file claims against him. How many lies does it take to learn the truth?

Maybe one of you should go back through the thread and count just the lies. That way we will have some idea of how many that is.

Sorry. This came in before I left the thread.

Even if you complete the group buy, you have lied repeatedly throughout the process and ignored the needs of your participants. I have no idea what you did with their money in the mean time. Even if you have it again now, you used it or held it for no reason related to this group buy and lied to them about the process. I have posited no question about the group buy herein. I have questions about your veracity and maturity. You cannot "prove me wrong" about you lying or hiding the truth from your participants. Those things you did. Completing the group buy will not change those facts.

Once again. Sorry. I'll place "ignore" on it.

how would we know?

we would like this to come out well, which is why we've stuck to it and given him so many chances. But he's lied - by his own admission - so many times that we can't trust him no matter how reasonable he sounds.

He can easily forge "documentation" of an order placed with the supplier; the only real proof he can provide now would be the sleds delivered to us. I say Delivered rather than Shipped because even a package tracking number to your house could only represent an empty box - I don't think he'd do that but I really don't know at this point.

There are so many opportunities for delaying-excuses coming up, with the holidays approaching. Has he hit you with the "next week is Thanksgiving so I won't be able to accept delivery so I can't order them yet" excuse? I'm not making that up.

I've opened a PayPal dispute in case he doesn't do refunds right away.

dang so that's two others that've filed claims...

In the other GB, Wes argued stubbornly that he had the issues corrected, and that he was fully independent of his parents, with his own credit card and the whole 9 yards.

1-1.5 months later, people still don't have diodes. I have no clue how the administrators of this board continue to allow this member to do "business" on these boards, I would've IP-banned him immediately and take legal action if he did not refund the members' money within 3 days. Everything promised on these boards become verbal agreements, and its absolutely ridiculous to continue the "hold on let me fix this" trick over and over and over again. He continues to reiterate that he's gotten or getting the problems fixed, and yet buyers continue to have faith. Why?

You, are very loyal. I quit Wes's GB after defending him by saying "paypal will protect us". You guys should've took the warnings seriously, or like me, got out when you had the chance. I ordered from both jake21 and bluray over a month ago and got my diodes after quitting Wes's GB.

@ Mods: I hope you guys step in, this is quite a serious matter. Not something mommy would be happy to hear. Business-boy-independent with credit card says sister is on the phone too much, a tad hard to believe there's only one phone in the house.

I thought i had one more chance, but turns out i do not.
I want everyone to have there money back.
If i ever try to do a gb again, ill have my account set up by then, all i can say is the result of this is the aftermath of a buyer doing a charge back trying to get almost 450$ back, and i was forced to create a new account if i were to accept any money.


And last of all, while this gb was trying to take place, i found many different suppliers for the diodes only, and if i ordered 40 diodes, they would of cost around $6.00. Last of all, I'm stuck with over 1000 anti-static bags, and over 100 bubble mailers + lots of tape and printer paper to print the labels out :-[

I just got home first of all which it is now 4:34pm EST. I have to go meet up with some friends going to watch a movie and maybe some soccer. And i will be home around 10pm, so i can refund around night time.
