I posted these images so you can get a better idea of what the dichros do exactly. If I did have a blue laser you would see TOP written in that test image. Also the border would be white. If you look closely in the last image you can see there are two red laser sources that is the Maxyz module @ ~440mw and 660nm it is pretty awesome. The maxyz modules use PBS cubes.
If you have been studying these images enough you might have noticed that the layout in the Paint Image I drew above is different from the pictures I posted.... well thats because I used a different set of dichros. I have a Reflect Red dichro rather than a Reflect Green dichro that is available in this group buy.
I'll let you know for certain by the end of the upcoming week, but I will probably be in for one PBS/C cube for ~650nm wavelength area. I know you said you need firm commitment - I'm just letting you firmly know of the possibility of my firm commitment! I *may* have access to a few FREE cubes this week, but I won't know until I visit an old client of mine.
Excellent GB, by the way - this is the stuff I really need now.
Sorry I'm having trouble trying to get the table to work... forgive me...
UPDATE: I'm stupid right now and cant figure out the table and I am hungry and leaving to Buffalo Wild Wings... so I cheated... see a couple posts down.
Also here is another possible set up for the dichros so you lose less of you precious (and expensive) red photons as suggested by Bridge:
Well in theory, yes you can get away without them...
You would just have to build your own mounts, which many people do. These mounts will just be (in general) a LOT easier to use. And to make your own to these specs would be pretty expensive.
These mounts are a pretty good deal, if you find out you don't want them I am sure you could eBay them and get back what you invested.
hello, DDL
my dear friends, yes, I am used my primary energy and time on design, experiment, product more better products, especilly our lasers. thanks for all of you test and help, we only want to improve our products everytime and do better and better.
Yes, I am verry happy in LPF and PL , many of us be friends, also many of us still remember me. . DDL you give us a very well plate, in there we can communication open and freely, show each other the best choice and tech support for better use laser for wonderful lasershow. I am very love lasers that can give us more pleasure. I will use my own life for lasers,
sorry ,Max, I give you Spec is our 2007 datasheeet, sorry for I had forgot correct it in 2008, in time . yes, for better transmission , both of our dichroic mirror is 1mm thickness and with AR coating. consider all blue wavelength including 445nm, 457nm, and 473nm, as most other dichroic don't consider 445nm, which will lost more powers.
wish all of you happy new year, 2008.
Best regards!
Bridge
I have these 2 dichros from bridge and they are fantastic pieces of kit. I've not play with them very much as I need to make mounts for them to use them precisely.
So I say a big thanks to bridge who is a top man with his laser products and accessories
Yeah I also have a set that I got when I got my 800mw. I haven't had the chance to test them really, nor do I really have any high tech equipment to do testing on them. Wish I did though...
aww man! love the overhead shot of your optical table with everything on it. I wanna do something like that someday...
I'd love to be in this for a 3 axis set but unfortunately I'm just too poor at the moment... sorry, I can't.
also, possibly a red PBS. Has anyone tested the PS3 PBS (the red one) for efficiency? It's smaller than this, but would do the work a lot more cheaply. Also, does bridge offer a 3-axis positioner for the pbs?
