yay!!! you checked this thread. i was about to start blowing up your cell.. .jk..

i really do want a grean. my ledshoppe finally went out. but not from the pot mod. the batteries corroded lol. so is the green e2 the 100mw model or is it the 5mw?

he's offering boths the Core is the 5mW and the E2 is 100mW.

E2 is "in spec' (from when we ordered), if it falls between 50 and 100mW but I am told they will run about 75mW or a bit more...

Also, I did notice this AM that WL now offers the E2 and E3 both at 3 output ranges... -Glenn

Today, I got word the Core lasers are ready, but the E2's are still being produced... Sorry for the earlier miss-communication, let's hope they have them soon... -Glenn

I would like to buy either a core or E2 to basically take everything out of it and then replace the driver and put a 20mW 635nm diode in it.

My questions before I buy anything is, are these still available?

And how easy is it to take these apart? (cause I have never owned one)

Thanks for the info michael. I do like the basic look of the core, but not the price. If the E2 is also as easy to retrofit a new driver/diode combo into the host then I would prefer that.

But, if the core is easier, then I might just go with that, products pending...

I talked to the WL rep on Friday, and he did say there is a big batch of the E2 Green lasers being processed, "like into inspection I suppose" but he plans to get me more info. soon... Glenn

these are the 5mw greens, right?
