Bump! Core is a great host!

I'd also like a quote on a 445nm core if I provide the stuff as Glenn mentioned above. Thanks!

Oh ooops. What I meant was that I have a spare Core here that I could use for a host. I'd love to participate with this GB, but I'm a poor college student right now.

So, not so many who love this as a host to mod as I had thought? So far, I am not hearing others who want a 4-color modified set... -GH

Re: Wicked Lasers Core laser GB $28 ea.

i would love to have one of those white sonar as host.
Sonar Extreme

always liked that host for some reason.

btw isnt it possible to expand this GB with other WL lasers?
i guess you know where im going with that question:p
Well, yes and no... as far as I know, there is a GB in progress w/ Nikokapo for several types of WL lasers..., so I do get an occasional WL for a pal, as long as it doesn't make that GB suffer... (so, if for a different not being GB'd item I am open to try). That said, I already asked about any WL hosts, and none are being offered atm... -Glenn

It doesn't seem like there is too much interest here. What about the G2 or G3 ?

I'd like to get a Core, just to have a Core. I need a good, stable class IIIa green laser for everyday use. Put me down for one.

With the E2 and a minimum order of 20 units we can do a similar discount folks! $39.50 + shipping and PP fees = $46.15 total shipped in USA... Anyone want 'em?

Hey Glenn, It looks like you are running another nice GB.

One thing that I would like to mention if the GB is extended to Class IIIb lasers is that WickedLasers is rumored to be under an enforced import ban to the USA. Be careful.

I was going to offer to build the Red, Blue, & Violet Cores for you but I need to replace my soldering station before I start to build again. That will have to wait 'til after this school semester.
If you do get someone commissioned for it, I would recommend keeping the 445nm one under 300mW. The furthest I've pushed a pen style 445nm was ~800mW on 1.2V NiMH batteries, but I wouldn't recommend it. The low mass of the pen style laser is not sufficient for the amount of heat generated. The batteries couldn't keep up with the load when the driver was set higher (900mA).

Re: Wicked Lasers Core laser GB $28 ea.

Thanks RA, Pens are for shorter duty cycle use imho & I already have a 445 pen that does nice on 2X 10440 batts and is doing 750mW and no silver heat sink, just brass and aluminium so, maybe here the limit is not so low as you would think...
And I am pretty sure I can get a package from WL even w/ late events noted ;) -Glenn

Best I can tell, Niko is not doing the GB at least for E2's now... please let me know if you hear differently... -Glenn
