Its working but when I chose the US nothing appears in the city place.

Also my address is 2 lines, how do I form it to put it in one line.

Sorry for asking a lot

Yeah, that problem arose a while ago but still isn't fixed.

Try your best to cram in your address but Ric will ship to the PP address, so don't worry about it.

Cheers!

Thank god, mini heart attack

Where do they ship the host from ?

btw, Eud is from Croatia and it might take sometime for the heatsink to be shipping to the US, so can I buy the heatsink now ?

Got an email that they're sending mine from Singapore, might be able to get it by the end of the week since Malaysia is right next to Singapore. :pop:

Hi guys,

They're about two and a half days left for this GB, and I just want to make sure everyone gets what they want.

Has everyone placed an order on fancyflashlights.com? I only see 14 hosts ordered and I think we need to see 20.

I don't want Eud to make too many and have left heatsink and focus adapters. (Or do you like to keep them in stock? :D)

Eud, do you have a preference on how the members should place an order for you? Perhaps PM or google docs?

And are we going to ship them regionally?

Cheers!

I am fine with whatever you guys want.

I'd prefer to have it done over Google Docs since I assume it'd be more organized that way, and I believe I should be able to add info of my own, what's shipped, what's made etc.

Paid up for my host :D It might be a few days til I can get more money in my PP for Eud though.. I hope that's ok. Also I have an idea for this host that may be noobish so I want a second opinion if possible. My idea is to mod the battery pack to run two 18650's say 1500mah in parallel to the 3rd 18650 3000mah in series. If I'm correct that would give me 8.4v (fully charged) 3000mah total and the batteries would drain at the same rate correct? Or am I just better off using two 18650's 3000mah in series and deleting the third battery slot? Hell maybe I'll just run 3 in series but I'm trying to get maximum power with as little useless extra heat as possible.

It would be advisable to use the same batteries in parallel, but using different ones isn't a terribly bad idea either.

One with higher capacity won't get discharged all the way, since two weaker ones will be discharged first, but we're still talking 3 18650 cells in parallel and that will last a brutal amount of time anyway.

But if I combined the 2 1500mah in parallel, and ran those as "one battery" to the third (3000mah) in series don't you think they'd all drain at the same rate?

I drew up a quick sketch of what I'm talking about on my Ipad but managing attachments never works for me..

EDIT: Used ph0t0bucketz (the numbers on the cells are their mah obviously)

Now wouldn't this circuit give me 8.4v and drain the batteries at the same rate? Once again it's probably much simpler to us a dummy and 2 cells at 3000mah but I'd like it to be as heavy and complex as possible :D

You either have a graphical tablet or a talent to draw natural looking curves with a mouse.

Such a setup could work, but it will be impossible to mod the battery holder to do that.
It's not a standard battery holder.

On one side it has a switch, on another it has both battery terminals ready to connect to the driver.
It's kinda hard to explain, I don't have the host anymore so I can't show you a picture, but Blord or somebody who has the host might post in.

In short, nope, you can't do that. Sorry :(

Ok yeah I've never had this host before so I was just curious. I'll find a nice solution either way I'm sure :D
It was just a quick sketch on my Ipad using the app, "MyBrushes." Took me like a whole 27 seconds lol

Thanks a lot, +1 for the help

You can change the battery holder from series ( stock ) to parallel configuration. You will have to figured a way between between the plus pole and the minus pole.

I wouldn't do 2 parallel with the third in series. Every time you charge the batteries you need to figured it out how to put them back.
The buck driver will work at 8Volt or 12Volt with even reduced current draw.

Yeah that's a good point. I think I'll just go x-drive with 2 or 3 cells in series

I'm going to set one up in series for the full 12V. Not sure what I am going to run in the others... I have never run batteries in paralell and serial like that so I cant comment I know my saik running the 3x14500's doesnt work so great with different batteries Crappy run time...

Euda I have gone through the get verified with PP they say it will take 3-5 day's. I dont know why I cant send as a guest to your invoices. It keeps sending me to log in or create a new acct. I sent as a guest on 3 others over the weekend. Dang PayPal... As soon as I can I will send it out.
