Hey Folks! Here's a great GB opportunity with no waiting! I have a really nice brand new just came in PGL III -C- 532nm 400 mW rated unit, runs very much like RA_Pierce unit he reviewed! It will sell to the first person who reserves it and can pay by Friday it is $695 and ships immediately for this amount plus shipping and PP fee, In USA it will total about $734.40 Normally this is something you would wait for and I have tested several that were not quite perfect, this one totally rocks! Only one on hand and it hits 600mW! PM me first!

I would be tempted, if I hadn't bought a 592 mw 532nm lab unit yesterday for $500.

Handhelds are a way cooler :D

That's not true, I don't like handhelds high power DPSS lasers because they are unstable in power.

Doesn't sound like a group buy ;p or I don't get something...

Usually the CNI group buys are the only way to get the 400mW PGL-III-C greens, which occasionally are overspec by 100-200 milliwatts :san: so instead of waiting on a gb and only getting 400mW (I know, only?) you're guaranteed a highly overspec one. And I agree with you on lab lasers vs portable for DPSS.

Just wanted to say, I got one of these in GB#9, and it is impressive as they say. They generally take a minute or so to get up to 600mW, but as Glenn has explained before - lasers that take a little longer to get there, tend to stay there a bit longer.

Mine takes about a minute to reach its 'full potential'; but once it does I can *easily* light matches with it from 15 feet away.

Yes, really.

I keep hoping for some awesome fog, so I can get some really good outdoor pics, I would have done more indoor ones by now, but with family and pets often in the way, it hasn't been convenient to do again indoor lately. However, it is still working well, typically 65 to 100 mW , when I do get it out. Also visually the color difference in the beam of this 473nm and a 445nm is quite interesting, (too bad, I have yet to get a good camera shot, but yobresal did this well) and when Pyro and Dave and the rest of us got together, I took it along to have others see and use too. The big hit of our little laser gathering was clearly the Flaminpyro WFTM though! -Glenn

Be sure to ask Flaminpyro... IIRC, the parts are about $650 and it takes about 20 or so hours to build & prefect, if I were him it w/b about $850 I think... It is indeed an awesome sight, and now the 445nm diode makes it ultra! -GH
