Maybe you could try asking them if there will be any hold ups in their shipping process due to recent events?
Other than that it's all a waiting game. Unfortunately I'll be moving new years so hopefully Glenn can do a quick turn around and it comes by then...

Already sent the followup asking for details such as that, (any production delays, shipping issues, etc), NobleKnight - so we'll see what I get back, if anything.

Double post....

Every time I message Glenn this is all I get as a response...I ask him to post on the thread and he always sends this:

So last we heard, about 5 weeks ago, is that the order was sent to CNI for production. How long does that stage typically take, and what kind of updates have we heard since then?

I just was told they are doing all they can to both get units ready and get us the higher output units... I hope to see the good products! -Glenn

Thanks SO MUCH for the update Glenn, please let us know as this progresses! :) Do we know if they're anticipating any trouble with the new shipping restrictons into the US?

do i have to order 10 GLP 589 pens to get it at $250?
i would like a GLP 589 and a $45 GLP 532

To be honest, I think you're coming in on this one a little late; nevertheless, you could always shoot Glenn a nice pm and see if maybe by some chance it isn't. I was lucky enough to be able to squeeze in a fairly late order on this one, but it was quite a while ago and that opportunity might not still be available. If it is, however, you shouldn't have to buy 10 of the 589's to get it for $250. We've already reached the number of people required for that pricing, so you can just hop on board (IF, of course, that is still possible this late in the game).

Thanks for the update, Glenn. It's great to hear that the wait will pay off with some very nice units :beer:

I was talking to Glenn a few days ago.. I asked if there was any update and he said that "Not really, just CNI said they would try to get the lasers shipped ASAP after all are well tested"

I assume he says that with the rate in which things are going and every person wanting to add a request while the rest of us have been patiently waiting for these lasers for almost half a year since this GB started.

Exactly. Every laser that gets added means another CNI has to build and test before they ship the whole order out to glenn..

Three months is (hopefully) a bit of an exaggeration, but still. As long as this GB is been in progress, it's a bit ridiculous.
