The plans are, to offer the majority of the former GB items as in stock items, in a store front.

SURE - fnd them for me, and I will sell them :p  No - the Sony 16x Diodes are readily available, and work VERY well - the other diodes I can get - I really do not see the value for the tiny amount of extra output at the prices I can get them for - make sense ?  If it is not a good value, I am not going to carry it - it would be financial suicide, not to mention pissing people off when they do not perform phenominally better.  The Sony diode is the most stable dvd burner type of diode I have yet to have seen available in bulk.

That is AWESOME news. One thing, can you please raise the price at least $1 on the diodes so you are making some money for all the trouble you are putting yourself through? I know it sounds like an odd request but we are getting soo much out of it, and I know you get personal satifaction out of helping us with out every increasingly expensive hobby =) but i'd like to know that you aren't just trying to break even but that this benefits you even if only in a small way.

You are offering us a way to make lasers that other wise would cost us a damn fortune, and I feel that I'm screwing you over by not helping you out in return. But for all the hard work you do, I say thank you once again good sir.

PS. hurry up, I wanna spend more money I don't have =P hehe

LOL !!! You ar correct, that is one odd request :) The pricing scheme will be different, for certain - with smaller quantities costing a little more than the larger quantities, since I really make even less off of single diode orders - so your advice has been taken under my belt, thanks :) Thank you, and everyone else who has ever participated in any of my group buys - I gotta say that you all are the main reason I am coming back into it - and you all have been great - continuously.

OMG NICE!!! ;D I was depressed for a while after I read that you were retiring from group buys. You're awesome Greg, this community would be lost without you! ;)

This forum should be renamed LPC - since this is most definitely a Community rather than simply Forums.

Thanks for all the hard work and pain, Greg!

It's part of you man...you must eat, sleep and drink lasers and being involved in helping this laser community! I am pretty new to lasers and this forum...and I am very happy to learn that you are continuing with your efforts. I will be watching for your offers...I have a Sentorch as well as a Sony diode which I am currently waiting on now. (but I'm not the one who called you) Ha ha!
Excellent news Greg!
