Put me down for one, I have held off most of my testing as I haven't got a decent set of goggles.
I have added you on the "seriously-interested list", if you are sure, I would love to move you over to the "confirmed-list".

Wouldn't OD7 be a bit excessive for Class IIIb lasers? That be like a 10[sup]-7[/sup] reduction in intensity.

Well maybe <sorry for slight threadjack> but can you give me a link to where I could get BR protection preferably under $80.(Doesn't have to be from OEM) Thanks

Unfortuatly, this GB is for the Goggles with ML7 lenses only, any others would not count toward our needed numbers.
The Goggles you mention do look nice, but they are pretty high OD, and they do not cover the "reds" or near-IR. The ML7s do represent a compromise with regards to VLT, but 13% is pretty good for multi-wave lenses. The hope is for one pair of goggles to cover all of the common diodes/modules that the hobbyist would be working with.

Can you explain what VLT means? I'm still not quite sure about it.

I believe it stands for "visible light transmission". So if you have a car with 15% tint on it, this it about how it will look. Basically it means 13% of visible light will get through. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.....

Nova sells OD 2+ (sports) and OD 6+ (professional), not 7.
