Yeah, the supplier says it might take him a while to get the order together, and I haven't gotten a definitive time. I'll email him YET AGAIN with the sme questions, and let you know as soon as I find out information myself.

Sorry this is taking so long! I am getting frustrated myself, but don't worry, I will get the elements to you sooner or later.

How long exactly did he say? Have you actually paid him yet, and if so what method did you use? Someone who gets pissed when asked questions and screws around after an order is made does not sound like a trustworthy seller. I know it's not your fault at all, but I don't want to be waiting forever on a lazy seller or someone who turns out to be a scammer.

No I didn't pay him.

He didn't say how long. I have to email him at least twice to get one answer. Gonna email him again...

I did order a little bit of excess elements. I'll have to let you know on this one once I get them, though. I'll keep you posted as soon as I get information.

No word yet on an estimated date of arrival though?

I'm not in much of a hurry, but it would be nice to have some idea on progress...

I'm not sure if I'd trust this guy with our money. 13 days and not even a reply? If this seller keeps this crap up I would be all for losing this guy and finding another supplier or just giving a refund.

I'm quite interested in an Ounce of Bismuth and 10 grams or so of Gallium, I'll PM you later once I have a look at my funds :)

Adam

I have not been just sitting around and waiting for two weeks! Here's the long list of emails that I have sent to my seller asking about the same question (read from the bottom up).

I will need a timeframe to work with soon, or I may have to cancel my order. Will you be able to provide me with an estimated time of shipment for these elements?

Thank you,
Mark

I would really like a timeframe and a final price so that I can get everything paid for and sent out; I will need the materials for my research as soon as possible.

I can go without hafnium, that sounds like it might take some time to put it all together. Otherwise, how long do you estimate the process will take, from now to shipping time?

Thank you,
Mark

We’ve gotten very busy recently and some of these items will take time to put together.
One item ( hafnium ) is export controlled and I will need an end use statement on some sort of company letterhead and a statement that the material will not be exported from the United States.

my supplier

Subject:Elements

I would like to place my order as soon as I can get a price quote on the elements I have requested, and I would prefer sooner than later if possible. If not, please let me know so that I may plan on a time when the elements will arrive.

Thanks,
Mark

I'm kind of hesitant to dump the seller right now, because in case you guys haven't noticed, I'm selling a lot of these elements at significantly below normal retail price. The only reason I can do this is because I am ordering them straight from the supplier. I'm sure this guy is legit because I was referred to him by a much larger company who is no doubt the real deal. The only question is whether or not you can wait for a while as I try to get an answer for my questions. If I don't get a response from this (and possibly other emails I will be sending out), I will refund you all your money and try to find another seller.

It sounds to me like you are doing just fine.

This is probably a nuisance-sized order for most suppliers. We are likely lucky to have anyone agree to fill the "scavenger hunt list" of elements, at very reasonable-prices.

As I now really want to start collecting elements, my vote is to wait it out and complete the GB.

Bummer about the halfnium, sounds like a hassle though. Hang in there.

Thanks Hemlock_Mike. No, styropyro, he did not respond to my email, and I have said dozens of times (literally) that I will update it when/if I do receive a response. I check my email and LPF multiple times a day.
