**************************

Just in time for that TAX REFUND.

reg price was IIRC ~$286 plus ship
at GB we got them cheaper by ~$30
no doubt the most awesome and simple laser projector-
find reviews and see the pics-
I WISH I had kept mine- it was needed asap to I had planned to buy one next time but that did not happen.

post in the thread to subscribe and PLEASE come back AND CHECK it out.

The tiny Remote controls really completes this projector-- you control everything..
even 'pause' or off.
AFAIK its enclosure bumps it from Class 3 down to Class 2-

but since there is a 'pause' it must be measured to really know if it becomes class 2. The closer the viewer is the higher the exposure.

Beamlets are lowered power by the number of them and normally the patterns do not stop UNLESS you press 'pause' IF the brightest place of the stopped pattern is below 10mW cm2... and
THUS it is NOT regulated- n/p selling buying or using in public- but please allow me time to get another one to test and meter before you quote me.. I remember Linna posting someplace about the output NOT being below MPE.. but she must cover LK butt.

just do not force your eye to stay open and look into the beam.

...really cool on ceiling walls or all three in a corner.
pass the RC around and let others play.
bbl with more info/pics etc
The LK 3D is not a beamer-
fog/smoke is not a must.

Jeff Bowtie will post some stills- video is better but seeing in person blows both away.

The store is hongkong laserking
looked like it was barely working .. many links were bad- they had just one item in 'Specials' & I was (atm) happy to see the LK 3D there--maybe we could get a better price- and being small- one big box to me- I reship to the buyers at actual cost .
my LK 3D pics are on another PC. and I let Tony buy mine to get a quick review to get buyers for the next LK GB. I only had time to show it off at SELEM where Jeff saw it and posted his thoughts. nifty lil PJ

These photos are copied directly from my post (pg. 14, post #209) in the LK group buy thread. I'll try and find more photos to add.

This unit is by far more worth buying than the other RGB units out there that cost about the same and don't do much. Nice introduction into what's possible and once you see one with a bit of smoke it's really something. Not getting rid of my LK PD-2. Why not try something that can be a LOT more fun than just waving a beam around.

Here are a few more pics that I found in the ole archives. :D
Like Pete said, these are a fun alternative to the traditional handhelds that we all know and love.

Better yet, they don't cost any more than a decent handheld laser!

So uhm, VERY interested.

Where would one buy one, to have it in time for a trip in 2.5 weeks?

IE, I'd contact Len, he may have some, or be able to one in that time frame. On the other hand, he may have to have a certain quantity to get them at the price point he's speaking of.

IE I have looked at those before and im pretty sure they are waay different and lower quality.. I could be wrong. Suny projectors are pretty low in quality.

I am interested if payment can be done in June.
Will the units first come to US and then go elsewhere or does the supplier have store in Europe?

It's a group buy, so we'd all pitch in for a volume purchase to be shipped to one member (hak). He would then ship our individual items to us as an intermediary.

It is OK for me. Do you know how much is shipping from Texas to Spain? I suppose not so much...
Excuse my ignorance, are these things computer controlled or have patterns preset or read them from memory/USB stick? ILDA files if I remember it right?
