I've been looking to get my own stash of sleds(50-80ish) and I've noticed that a large chunk of the pricing (In a GB) is the shipping to the actual customers. Anyone want to divulge a source? ::) seriously though, I ain't trying to start a GB war of sorts; I simply figured that purchasing the sleds directly from the source as opposed to through a GB might save some money. Feel free to PM me if you're willing to share ;D

I don't know of a source, but I do know that there is one out there that sells them for $7 according to andy_con. Because practically everybody on here uses the same source for all of the sleds, I'm sure it can't be that hard to find, but maybe somebody will do a deed for the community and tell you. ;D

No, EVERYBODY knows them.

A couple months ago, they spammed our forum saying they have cheap PHRs.

Ya know it's absolutely amazing that everyone gets offers to buy sleds but me. I'm not sure if that's a blessing or not. I'm stuck having to deal with all these bidding wars. would be nice to be able to just buy 100 sleds whenever I need them.

@ David, This man wanted to know a supplier, as he may at some point in time wants to buy the sleds for himself, saving him lots of money instead of going through a GB. I'm only telling this to people who are Big on this forum, and build lasers.
I'm trying to save all the big sellers money on cost enabling them to have lower prices for buyers who are less fortunate.
And i know the people that i have told, are not going to do a GB and try to make money out of it.
;)

And anyway, searching for "PHR-803T" on Google will reveal that site, and other references anyway. Just most people don't bother contacting suppliers in China.

Hehe, no supplier is hidden my friend... A lot of us know which suppliers have been within 100 miles of a laser diode in their lives, so no secrets here...


anyways, I dont get it... you are saying it is cheaper to not buy from GB's, and gather people and money, and order from the guy and ship them out to people?? I am sorry, but what do you think a GB is lol??/!?!/...


or are u saying we get the supplier to ship out separately to everyone... well, shipping to US from china aint cheap, and the suppliers dont go cheap if its available. Plus they charge extra for smaller bite sized orders (they get a good kick out of that one) so basically we get everyone paying about 50 dollars to ship a sled or two to them by UPS or something, and we leave the supplier with the conundrum of where to find a few extra piggy banks ;)


so honestly.. I dont get it... please explain more?
