I should be able to get the remainder out within a few weeks. I've been doing some aggressive and ingenous trading in order to get me a few more of the barrels I need to fill the backorders. don't worry it won't be long. If it is, I'll let you know personally.

It's no hurry.. I was just curious.
If I get polished barrels out of waiting, then it is certainly worth it!

are all the ones from the emergency run getting polished? if not how much is it per barrel?

All of the one's from the emergency run are getting polished. It's quite amazing really. I found out from the manufacturer when I complained about machining marks on some of the barrels, and had to pay to get them polished by the anodizer (who outsourced it) that the manufacturer has the means and the ability to polish them before handing them to me. Not to mention, the cost of said polishing will be pennies on the dollar compared to what the anodizer charged me. So, the emergency barrels are getting polished by the manufacturer.

All barrels from this point on will be polished as the looks are just soooooooooo much better. It's literally like comparing a mona lisa, with a childs drawing. Who would pay millions of dollars for a childs drawing?!?!?

I'd still like clear anodized, if possible!
It's hard to tell, but it seemed like the machining marks showed pretty well on the photos of the unpolished clear anodized.

So... if possible I'd like both to be polished and clear anodized.

I can take the 2 that I was going to send to you and strip them in lye and polish them and then re-anodize them. Use them as a test bed if you will. It will get you what you want but it will take a little bit longer. I've got the barrels here ready to ship unpolished but anodized clear. They don't look bad really. Minor scratches that aren't really visible. Ask the others that got unpolished clear. it's really not that bad.

OH, well, I don't want to put you through any extra work, either way! SO, if you have them ready, ship them... if I have to wait, that's fine too.. (I was just sugar coating the waiting, by talking about having them polished.. I honestly don't care either way.. Then again, if you want a test bed, and don't have any others, go for that too. I put the laser hobby on the back burner. Hopefully get an inexpensive 6x before I assemble :))

You choose. I would like to try this but I've got a version 1 barrel I could do this to. I can polish them and anodize the choice is ultimately yours as they are YOUR barrels.

Heads up to those that did not get a chance to get in on this wonderful product.  The emergency run is complete and I've got another 35 of these barrels available for purchase.  At this point, they are not anodized so if you want custom, we can do it.

Price is $50 for clear or $55 for black.  I'm going to try to anodize a few of these myself including some custom anodizing.  THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES.  I still owe the original anodizer over $1500 and I've already paid him $4000 (waaay over charged in my estimate for 160 barrels) so until he gets paid there will be NO custom anodizing from them.  

These are available for prepurchase NOW!!!  Orders will be filled in a LOT shorter of time you have my 100% personal guarantee on this. (1 to 2 months max)

uhh z000z since your barrels are black, I'm having to get those anodized. It's going to take your order a little longer to get done.

You don't have to worry about anodizing I just want polished, this run was polished right? I'm actually thinking of trying to nickel /cobalt plate them

Ahhh ok. I'll get them shipped out then. I'll make sure to get as good a polish on it as I can.
