Yeah, I could tell from the picture - but what I meant was what type of lens they are like, acrylic, glass, what type of AR coating... Does IgorT sell his 405nm AR coated lenses inside that aixiz .. thing? The black cylinder with the lens(es) inside

Yes it is an ordinary run of the mill aixiz acrylic. However if you want to change the lens at anytime to a glass, or a igort's you sure can do so.

Yes. The lenses that Igor is playin with are specifically designed to fit right inside an aixiz nut. Or at least that is my understanding. He mentions something about an o-ring but am not quite clear on it's usage.

I dearly want to see Green to purple fade. Purple on the head. Oh and one other thing. Red solid barrel. I know that a few of the folks have actually ordered that.

You have some real talent!!! I love your pictures! But, can you make a picture of a Kryton Groove with: Red/Black marble  and Blue/Black marble

its amazing how real they look! you can even see the reflection of the marble off the silver.

well i just read this ENTIRE thread from start to finish. (haha that is directed towards you VW!)
and let me get this out of the way, i thought when the spammer came in i almost could swear i thought it was going to turn into another "fail thread" with more spamming and pictures and lots of phail!

but more importantly kenom, you are doing a great job with all of this! this the best GB yet! I really love all the combination and choices we can have!
I really want one of your Kryton barrels, but currently I cant afford it. maybe in a month or so I will be able to, but you say the barrels should be out before the end of next month, will you be mass producing any extras? or will I have to wait till/if there is a 3rd run. I dont know if I can get the money within the deadline.

Mikeeey, I believe Kenom is getting a few extras made and will be selling them direct from his store untill they run out, which I expect will take a couple of months. If you want custom anodising though its probably best to get your order in asap, I think the surplus barrels are being done in a mixture of black and silver. I'm sure Kenom can give you a more definative answer.


Anyway, on to the real reason for my post:

I'm not too sure how close the gold is, I'm having trouble getting the materials shiny enough while still keeping nice saturated colour. If you have more requests though I'm happy to do more, now that I have the mapping sorted making new colours is fairly easy. :)
