I'm probably for getting mine un anodised too, I really don't want black. How much tougher does anodisation make the aluminium?

You can get a black laser barrel anywhere

There is (or ws) a poll about that. black or clear.

There is a poll going on presently to see what the barrel anodizing preference is for everyone. Thus far the black vote is at 66.66% and clear is at 33.33% You can vote for your preference here

If you are getting them black in the end, I'll take mine un-anodised too please... It'll look better, arrive earlier, be a better heatsink and save you a bit of money.

Gotcha, You will have them combined. Your not the only one that has changed thier mind and added a barrel after the first. So worry not my friend they will ship together.

Nah. they won't be starting the run until they get done with the move. They indicated to me that they would be done with the run by the 16th of july. This is what happened with the first run. They tell me a date then it gets pushed back a few weeks, then a few week, then it finally gets done. Without this going forward when it did, this would be happening a few months from now instead of now. I was looking at finding another cnc shop to do this stuff but none of them responded to my small time run. Not to worry, it will be very soon!!
