some patience would be useful... or at least more patient language.

Putting this together takes more time and energy than you can imagine; and is very expensive to get going. Kenom, like most people, has a life... I believe he's still a student. Both time and funds are short in that occupation.

Perhaps if you read all of Kenom's posts in this thread you might gain an understanding of when to expect product.

OK I need someone to set me up a webpage with google checkout and paypal for starting to take orders for teh beast at least. Might do a few of the blocks as well and maybe grooves. I'll start takign orders and the sooner we reach 100 orders the sooner I can place the order with the manufacturer.

Ahh ta hell with it. Lets go on all of em!!

Ken, sorry I have not been following closly because the interest faded for a while...

Did Dr. Lava come up with the driver for the 'Beast'?

And are you offering it with driver options?

IIRC, the v4 driver can go up to like 1.5A anyway, but I'm not sure about higher

Yeah the v4 does go up a lot higher now so I figured it could be used in this capacity. By the time everything is ready and done, I will have better drivers for the beasts. You can be assured of that.


Up till now all those that have expressed interest in the hosts will have to re-express interest as it's been so long. I'll start the list in the next post.
Gotwake need a bit more definitive than and/or.

bout 1-2 months. Honestly it depens on how long it takes to get the minimum order of barrels.

Count me in for 2 Kryton Grooves for the missus and a Beast for me. Hopefully I won't get into a car accident this time and lose track of this opportunity.

The Beast can be outfitted with 5.6mm diodes as well as c-mounts? I'm planning on building a beastly blu-ray.

I'd love a Kryton Groove! Please put me down for one. (Ever since I repaired Rob's I've been in love with your design)

I'd probably also be in for anodisation...


Also if you're doing an ap-cap and a keyswitch on the Beast, why not go the whole hog and drill a hole for a 3mm LED, and have a "visible warning"? That ticks one more box of the FDA's long list...
