Status of the busted ones - one person backed out, so there are 5 left to sell, or I will have to refund all that have paid thus far for the broken ones. I asked if I could open them - and was given a reply of pretty much as I thought - if I open one, they are all bought ! So - any hopes of selling the remaining 5 ? I will give it until the end of the week - then refunds will be issued. Sorry, all - I had a lot more emails come in asking about them, than I did payments. :(

I'm tempted... VERY tempted.... :-/ I know I can put that thing and make it into the ideal labby-style laser. Although funds are very tight at the moment, I'm pretty sure I can drop $50 on the broken one, but $75 is just a tad bit above my taste... maybe you can talk them into dropping their price a bit? :-[

Tell me about it....since it is snapped off it can probably be easily fixed or used as a lab laser like you suggested. And since it is still sealed, the guts are probably ok. $75.00 is good even if just used for parts. But of course $50.00 would be better.
Either way, it is very tempting.

I second you Daedal, I really wish that they willing to let it go for $50. $75 is a bit too high IMO, for it to be made as a spare part. If they are willing to release it for $50, I'll be all over this already...

Yeah, I'll agree that $75 is kinda high for something that got beat to crap in shipping, LOL.... but I'm kinda desperate for a nice Diode and driver board right now.

I wonder what would be the power output if it "did" have a filter?

Oops!.. wait a min.. I remember senkat said these don't even have IR to filter!.. we are still a couple of hundred off on frequency for IR.
