Thanks, guys - as always, I appreciate the support you have all shown me in the past, and present, too !  I don't know of ANY group that woulda put up with such an epic purchase as the Sentorch one turned out to be !  But - somehow you all put up with it :)

It is time for me to take some time to PLAY with some laser stuff now - I have been so damned busy administrating the GB's that I have not had any time to play :(

That's really sad that someone was idiot enough to call your house at 11:30 over this, and it's hard enough for one person to ship out hundreds of things in such a small amount of time. But thanks for all of what you've done to this forum, without your GB's we wouldn't be near as big as what we are now.

Your GBs were a cornerstone of LPF... it will be very sad to see them go. Time to start hoarding those DVD diodes before lest we be stuck ripping apart DVD drives again!

Man, I joined just to participate the SenKat GB, talk about publicity.

But receiving a phone call late night just sucks really bad, especially as there is no profit with this!

Well, good to see you'll not quit the forum, but still...

Damn, man. I can't believe someone would have the nerve to call you at that time of night over a group buy - something you aren't making much (if any) money off of!!!

I must say, I am pretty glad that I got in on your first Sony diode GB, and that 200mW Sentorch is looking awfully appealing. :)

Okay, folks....the Diode Group buy is officially over now - I posted a final message, and locked the thread. Thanks all that participated, and relax, all diodes are inbound at present to you !

I understand your view, Senkat, group buys must be time consuming for you, too many customers, dealing with korean sellers and so on... I just wanted to say thanks for all your effort ;)

OH MAN!!! :( I agree with everyone else. Bad news indeed but totally understandable Greg. I don't know how you didn't develop stomach ulcers from all of that work but it is appreciated, especially from us newbies!

UPDATE !!!  Possibly returning from my early

There have been some developments in the GB diode area, and I may not be retiring after all if my new supplier comes up with a few tricks as he has promised. IF this happens, you will see more diodes than ever before listed - with many different options available ! I am actually kinda pumped, as it means an LLC would be formed, and I would not have to look for work any longer :) I may have an actual corporate sponsor for this venture ! How cool is that ???
