We just got our Harbor Freight Tools Catalog and it seems they are having a sale from today, December 12, 2009 to January 17, 2010.

Just a couple of laser related things that caught my eye:

CEN-TECH 7 Function Digital Multimeter for $1.99

3-1/2" Super Bright Nine LED Aluminum Flashlight for FREE, no purchase required.

20% off any single item

These are with the coupons from the catalog. It says one coupon at a time only but I'm sure you could just buy the multimeter with the coupon walk out of the store and walk back in and use the FREE flashlight coupon.

Online it still shows these products as their original prices:

- Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

- Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

I know the flashlight comes in at least two colors, blue and black.

I just found some of the coupon pages online:

Great Deals!!!

I got out yesterday and only spent $55. I am still going through bags of stuff, some stuff that I've wanted since I was a little kid. Harbor Freight is one of the most dangerous places for your pocketbook. My theory is that they sell their stuff so cheap that the whole economy of China will fail, and the USA will once again be a superpower !!!

Right -- it fell of the boat in China and was salvaged :shhh: I do have a lot of their "stuff" and if treated right works real well. My lathe, mill, grinders etc are OK.

Living only three miles from a Harbor Freight, my house could be designated an off-site advertising outlet. Some of their stuff is crap, however I have never had any trouble returning any item for a replacement or refund.

How bad is it that most of the employees there know me by name, and greet me when I walk in the door?

Just thought I'd get this thread back up before the sale ends on Sunday.

Edit:

I just realized I posted this in group buys instead of Deals and Discounts.

Harbor freight is nice. It's too bad it's quite a few miles away from my house, and that a Fry's is near it... Even more money spent...
