lol, u shuda seen us with the PL-200 GB... man... ordered in December, received mid march. And I was lucky too! there are some people in the second batch still waiting...
but its all good! once you get your stuff you will love it!

I did indeed mike. it looks awesome. Now if I could only find what my son did with the one that has 4 cuts. hehe. gotta love that boy. he just loves to play with the stuff daddy does. only problem is he doesn't put it back!!

well according to blue the drivers were shipped out friday of this last week. Now I haven't heard anything more from him as far as if they didn't ship or not (and he knows that's not acceptable to not let me know) so until I hear differently the drivers are in route and should be to me in about 1-2 weeks. Once I get those drivers it's build some boxes, throw together all of the stuff, and ship them out. shouldn't take more than a few days cause I've really got things streamlined and ready to go here in assembly line fasion.

OK so here's a word of advise from all those folks out there that are going to insert blurays into this barrel. REMOVE THE FOIL.
I've just spent two hours trying to press fit in some blurays with the foil still on the diode pins and each and every time I've done so it's misaligned the diode in the press fit slot. so Deadal if you see this and folks are ordering blurays for these barrels please remove the foil. These CANNOT be pressed into these heads with it on there.

I wouldn't recommend filing on the diode. If your really concerned about how well it fits into the head sand the insertion point a little bit to take off some extra material there. IT'S A TIGHT FIT.
Now I want to emphasize that this was designed this way intentionally. the tighter the fit the better thermal contact it's going to make so if you sand it down, it's not going to make as good a connection.

The tight fit also allows for tollerances in the diodes. I beveled and scraped the pocket on mine and it was still tight.
