paid! hey kenom, you don't have to click 'shipped' on google checkout in order to get the money. You should click shipped when it's actually shipped, so you can include the tracking #.

YA... figured it out recently too... ;D

You guys may notice the latest orders are actually still not shipped yet ;)

any updates on the drivers? id rather not buy one from blue because the shipping is more then the driver itself.

what?
First of all, my drivers COME IN THESE BARRELS you do not need a separate one.
second, it's $1.50 shipping to $4 driver, how does that make it more???

Not sure what you are talking about. If you are in the US, shipping is $1.50 and you get a driver for $5.50. I can't see shipping being more expensive from Aus to anywhere else since US is on the opposite side of the world unless you live somewhere exotic.

Buying a driver kit from anyone else here would cost $15-$20. Getting my own components for a few drivers cost me more than that shipped. I think BlueFusion's driver is the BEST deal around. It comes premade and all. If I really wanted to make a few more lasers for reselling like some others, I'd grab a whole bunch of them. Only problem is the wait.

The ball is rollling now with the manufacturer. I paid the consultation fee's and we should see some drafts soon of what this is gonnna look like. I was informed by the manufacturer that it should take about a month to run all of these barrels completely. Just a ETA.

Great news, Kenom!

I've been lurking this thread for a while. I'm thinking about getting one or two barrels, but I may wait to see those drafts. I hope it won't be too late to hop aboard by then. :-?

xtremeoid and xarylx, the only reason shipping is NOT $10 is that I have a US shipping hub. Drlava.
Otherwise, yes it would be expeeensive. Think $10, worldwide, and only about $5 to australia lol

So Dr. Lava was selling these double-lens adjustable laser housings with his previous BluRay GB, as opposed to the standard single-lens version of the Axiz module. Would there be any benefit to using one of those?

I've seen no benefits in using a glass lens as apposed to a acrylic lens in the DIY red lasers. Maybe others have but there was threads on the forums not long ago comparing the two and even senkat didn't see any advantage.

It probably shouldn't be since we've got the #'s we need to go forward. I've not sold the total 100 so there's left overs.

I've seen a tiny melt dot in the center of the acrylic lenses when running at 120mW + for minutes at a time (with the rohm diodes) Other than that, the plastic lenses seem to be fine, even for 405nm.

I have every intention of doing another run. It may be a bit before we can do it again since everyone is going to be tapped out from the holidays but this is something I WILL repeat.
