So it all started about a month ago when Grix made this thread about o-like having some "g2" lenses for 11$ which is a great deal since a new G2 costs about 40$.
So as soon as he got them he put them to test and here are his results:
TEST USING M-140 (1.38A) - BlueFan TEC LPM
Optical power with 3-element lens: 1070 mW
Optical power with genuine G-2 lens: 1480 mW
Optical power with the o-like fake "J-2": 1425 mW
He also noted the following: "The dot looks about the same as the genuine G-2. It is fully line-shaped, not cropped like with the 3-element one. Also the inner brass ring that kept the lens in place was a little loose, needed tightening. So build quality is not totally great."
More test results will be posted soon...but many thanks to Grix who is the one who found them and tested them! So spare a momment to give him some +rep on his thread! (Not affiliated by Grix in any way :angel: )

I came in contact with Susie from O-like about ordering these in bulk and here are the discount prices:
-$9 based on 100pcs
-$8.50 based on 200pcs
-$8 based on 300pcs
-$7.35 based on 500pcs
So if you are interested please post below with how many you want and in 2 weeks we are going to make an order (if we hit at least 100). About shipping costs, I'll have to contact susie again to see if they are willing to ship each lens to everyone of you otherwise I'll have them all shipped to me and then I'll send them to your for about 1.5$ per 10 lenses! :beer:
