Hey people.

I have a seller that is selling LPM's, the more we buy, the less they cost.

He confirms these work just like other LPM's eg. Laserbee, already assembled into a box.

At the moment, price each is $195US $180US if I can get 15 buyers.

Please reply if your interested.

I'm not sure how many people you'd get for this. Most people who want LPMs already have them.

And no, I don't need one. I've had my Laserbee I for over a year and still works like a champ :)

Is that with shipping? The Laserbee is only $20 more so you probably won't find many buyers, most people will pay the extra $20 to get it fast as opposed to waiting in a GB.

Just a few questions...:yh:

1) Does it use an Optical or Thermopile Sensor

2) What is it's Wavelength range

3) What is it's Laser Power range

4) Does it have an Analog or Digital Display

5) Does it have a PC Data Logging feature

6) What is it's power source (Battery 120vac..etc)

7) What is the sellers reputation

8) who is the Seller and where is he from

Nobody wants to buy a "Pig in a Poke" without some basic info..
You wouldn't buy a car without knowing anything about it...
Just saying it's a car and it costs this much is really not enough.

Don't get me wrong... competition is a good thing for the buying
public..;)

I posted an image on here sent from the seller.

I apologise, it isnt showing. - Re uploaded with new price.

The seller is a person I've known for a while, and some say a good laser seller.

Everything should be answered.

Laser, don't get me wrong. I want a LaserBee, but If I can get enough people to buy 1 of these, I though I could save myself 50-60$US - That's like $80AUD
This isn't competition, just an opportunity.. :)

This isnt a sell thread, just a thread to see who's interested.

Thanks! :D

(I fixed my name... I just counted 135 member user names that start
with laser...:eg:)
I have no problems with your GB or even Sale... like I said...
competition IS a good thing for the buyer..

In case you were not aware... from what I've read here on the Forum..
there is another Optical Sensor LPM called the Andover LPM-1 that is fairly
good but has issues reliably measuring the 405nm wavelength.. and only
certain wavelengths in memory can be checked..
Does this GB LPM have those issues solved...

Do you have a link to a User's Manual for this GB LPM..

BTW... I'm not trying to be negative... just asking basic questions that
a buyer would ask... thanks for the Pics...
Good luck on your LPM GB...;)

[EDIT]... Does the $180.00US include Shipping to the USA and Canada...

This LPM is used in many laser shop in China.
I highly recommend laserbee over that one.

(Shipping will take less time & Jerry will help you if anything happens)

Looks like it uses an optical sensor, which also explains the low maximum of 40 mW, and the relatively high sensitivity (though real proper thermopiles can be as good).

Considering the price, i doubt there will be much interest on LPF - i think most people would be better off with the laserbee and the price difference is marginal.

A DIY project?
for how much? where is the thermopile? yikes that wire hanging out looks weak! for how much are you asking for that project box?
looks like a Ramsey kit

in ref. to the laserbee DIY box

Hey nerd....

can't you do better than that...:crackup:
What a pathetic attempt at TROLLING....

I agree. Pay a little more, and get a thermopile head, it's worth it.

Optical Head? They don't work very well with blu-ray. lasersbee is obviously going to be very biased towards his own meter, but he's right, you're far better off using a thermophile head for measuring blu-ray.

And since blu-ray is the major thing DIY people are making these days, it makes this meter not as useful as others.

Meh looks decent, would rather buy from Jerry though since he's a respected member, I've herd loads of happy reviews about his LPM and I also know where I can contact him if anything goes wrong.

And Lasernerd, why are you even here? You get kicked of another forum for scamming and instead of learning your lesson you come here and start trolling.

All kidding aside... ;)

The OP is trying to get a GB going... and I apologize if I hijacked your
GB Feeler Thread responding to lasernerd...

Let's get back to this GB Thread by tommii89....

It looks as though it is much higher of a max. than 40mw
in the pic it shows 399mws

You're right, but the little spec sheet above it clearly states 40.00, hard to tell which one to trust, but 400 mW is a hell of a lot for a photodiode sensor, unless it uses an ND filter to extend range or something.
