I highly recommend that we just share this information at this point. As we have seen, by the time a GB is organized, the units could be all gone.

Peace,
dave

anything you would save on shipping, wouldn't really save us anything once you reshipped the sleds to us...

I'm pretty sure your combined shipping for the order, plus the reshipping to forum members is going to cost more than $10... in fact, $10 is a great price for shipping, geeks.com wanted $45 for the slowest method of shipping to canada, consider yourself lucky if it's as low as $10.

i could always take out the sled from the drive and ship them in anti-static bags and it would not coast that much to ship back out.

With YOUR shipping the drives are going to be $25.06 per unit. Now add the shipping/packing materials and postage to reship. This will probably be no less that $4 per unit for just the sled (and not priority). So these units now become about $29 per unit shipped (domestically). This does NOT take into account your time to do all this. Are you willing to do all this for free, or are you trying to make a little something for yourself. If you want to make a little something for your time, you will have to add that cost on top of the $29. If you've already included a little something for yourself, then you are being disingenuous with us.

Just share your information.

Peace,
dave

Folks, buy what you want or need. These all appear to be from the same "run". Unless we find a different source for these, we will be back to PSXBoy, at $38 and rising. Even he was already trying to substitute the 0811 sleds.

i just bought 5 drives and came up to 109.82 shipped from http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Digitalet/items/item.aspx?itemid=2417759

So now you know that the units will end up at $22 per unit to you. Now add in the cost of an aiXiz module, the cost of packing materials, and postage to wherever you are shipping it. If you have to drive or "pay" someone to drive you to do the shipping you will have to factor in those costs. Only then can you know how much you need to charge someone.

I'm not trying to be mean here. We just watched one business probably bite the big one. Business is more complicated than just trying to be nice and making a little on it.

Peace,
dave
