Okay, so I have been working to make a printed PCB, this thing is basically the DDL driver without the components. All you have to do is plug in the components and add a bit of solder to to keep it in. it is small and compact, and is also not as messy as some alternates.

I wanted these mainly for my own use, but the more you get the cheaper they are each. so by doing a GB, I am helping both myself and others. here are the prices:

$2.53 each (no components) (with soldermask)

$6 domestic (US) shipping
$11 int'l (non-us) shipping

$3 for fully assembled board (with components soldered on, you must tell me, only 15 of these are being offered)

The sooner everyone pays, the better.

be sure to e-mail me with your LPF forum ID, your real name, and what you orddered. (after you pay)

regards,

amk

Re: GB Feeler DDL driver "plug n' play boards"

picture of PCB attatched

its .875in in length and .675in in width

(Length: 22.22 mm
Width: 17.14 mm
Area: 380.85 mm sq)

regards,

amk

EDIT:
the 3 holes to the bottom left are if you want to add a pot. if you don't want to add a pot, just solder a wire connecting the holes together. This driver supports up to 2 resistors in parallel, and a pot. it also has holes for the cap and 1n400x, as you can see.

Nice, I might order some later on if you set up google checkout. It's a hell lot better than paypal. ;D We'll see, but for now I'm not commiting myself to any.
How about posting a drawing of the board showing the layout of all the parts?

its a normal DDL driver. you need:

Lm317T
resistors (use 1.25/R = A to calculate resistance needed)
Capacitor
1N400x
Pot (optional)
wires

3v more than required output is needed in. so if you need 3vout to the diode, you need at least 6v in

variable mA output, up to 1.5A I believe.

The parts you can get off of mouser, or digikey for very cheap. your local radioshack sells them too, but for a bit more money...

thats about 14 us dollars, which means you could get 5 boards. if there is more interest, you will be able to afford more. just use google, and type in: 15AUD to USD
it will give you a conversion

shipping to US flat rate of $5, which is basically postage and packing materials.

pic below is postage to AU, but will vary with actual package weight. we are looking at a good $10 there, including packaging, etc.

regards,

amk
