I found a 50 ohm on ebay for 99 cents each.

The same one on mouser cost $2.65. Besides 50 ohm is more suitable for our application, we don't need to go below 25mA

well, google checkout is free, and easy to set up unlike paypal. All you do is add a debit/credit card and your off!

Its less hassle for your guys, and me. It deposits funds directly to my bank account, and there is no limit. whereas, paypal has a $500 limit monthly on how much I can deposit to my bank account.

up till a month or so ago, google checkout didn't charge a transaction fee (like paypal) but it does now....

its hard to explain, GC is just much better.

hey TheMonk, to cut costs, I was going to use this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/100-Ohm-1-Turn-...ZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem

it would be easier for me, because I have like 20 of these (ordered like 30 around 3 months ago)

what does everyone think?[/quote]
Wow... unbelievable price.
I am looking at the specs it says "Maximum Wiper Current: 100mA max." not sure what it means.
I assume you already used this pot with success.

yes thats what I thought when I saw the price a long time ago: "WOW, IM BUYING 30!!"

they work fine. when turned down all the way they have a resistance of .5ohms

up all the way and your at 100 or so.

I am currently using one on the driver with the windowless IR ;)

they are good pots. I also like the seller, he is very cheap. I saw the 25-turn pots (link above) and wanted to ask you guys what you think?
