Hey guys, Sorry for the delay, electric goldmine takes 3 days to answer any of my emails.

They were well aware we were purchasing 30+ caps but never once answered my question on stock quantity. As I said before it takes them 3 days to answer any questions I had and I got a reply last night. My email to them was extensive asking about proper use, charging, shipping discounts etc.. and this was the reply I got.

just got your refund, thanks bobhaha, on another note, i just bought 12x used 3000 Farad (2.7V) ultracapacitors :)

i will only be using 6, might sell the remaining 6!

hehe yep!

cost me $281.95 AUD to get them here so thats like 23.50 per cap.

haha that would be intense ay!

The Calcs.

12 x 2.7V = 32.4V

Capacitance = 1/ (1/3000Farad x 12) = 250 Farads

Energy = 0.5 x 250 Farads x 32.4Vsquared = 131,220 Joules

Charge Rate = 10Amps / 250 Farad = 40mV/Second

Charge Time = 32.4V / 40mV = 810 seconds = 13.5mins
