Alright so I'm changing this to a real group buy.
Since there is interest in both with and without driver's, we'll do both. This run will be for 25.

Prices and Options

Basic kit - $20
This includes just the Aurora C6 flashlight host and CNC machined heat sink.
I can machine the pill down upon request. This provides a nice flat surface for heat sinking your driver.

eg: 1 basic kit in the USA would be $20 + $1.75 + $0.96 = $22.71 Shipped

I'll add everyone's total for them, but this is to give you an idea of what you can expect.

Re: Feeler: Aurora C6 "hot option" kits - $30

If it were just host and heat sink and nobody cared for having the driver, it would be around $20. That would also include buying amc drivers in bulk just to use for battery contacts in the pill. They are like $16 for a pack of 20.
I don't there there is enough interest either way.

If it's copper heatsinks then put me down for 1. What kind of driver would you be using?

Re: Feeler: Aurora C6 "hot option" kits - $30

the driver would be a very simple linear driver. lm1085 and a .75ohm resistor.
Right now it doesn't look like i'd even do the hot options were this to actually go through..
i'd just do the host and heat sink.

I've already tested the driver and it works fine, though it wouldn't have the reverse polarity protection or any of the safeguards that many drivers have. it outputs 1.62A

It wouldn't be too hard to put a diode in parallel to add reverse polarity protection. And that's too bad these seem like a nice deal.

Re: Feeler: Aurora C6 "hot option" kits - $30

Yeah i think they added about $1 to the total cost iirc, and a cap for voltage spikes is just pennies.
Though the driver itself only cost like $2-$3 in parts. Knocking it down to $20 leaves less room for play.
So i'm checking prices to do a run of 50.
Maybe we could do both, with and without driver and just do a run of 50 total. I'll have to collect prices for everything and get some final numbers for everything.

Price of shipping will just be whatever it costs to ship from Missouri or is it included in the price?
