Re: GB | 515nm Diodes

Yea they did, did yours not?
I wont have money for another week, so when I do I will be in for a greenie.

Actually yes it did, I missed them because they were stuck in the folds of a pack of stickers.

If we can get some 462nm diodes, that'd be sweet, but if not I understand.

Re: GB | 515nm Diodes

Hi Everyone ,

These are PLP450 diodes. At least that is what the datasheet I got says. I also use these for a long time. And they do 2W-2.4W all the time , sometimes even more.

I will make a power graph today with a diode I got in stock to show you all.

The modules I can get you is the Aixiz style modules , these are the same like DTR ones just not made from copper. If you want copper modules , it is also possible to make them or just buy them from DTR directly.

For the 9mm diodes I do have copper modules in stock.

about 462nm diodes , at the moment we can not get them.

Closing date will just be announced after we reac the goal of around 40 diodes.

Hey, if you introduced another cool wavelength in the 30-40 dollar range, id be in probably for another 2.

Great, thank you for the information!

Another question: Are you going to be our USA distributor, or has that been decided yet? If you are, would you be willing to take delivery of a DTR module and press my diode in, for a fee?

I'm pretty sure I am the US distributor, but yes I can do that for free! Instead of sending me a module, it may be easier to just buy your module from thejoker.

BTW if it's easier, I can just order 3.8mm modules for the US/Canada orders! For those interested, make sure you state that you want a module on the spreadsheet! The fee is $2 per module, I will put in an order for 10 now. (I will be using these: 3 8mm TO38 Laser Diode Case House Laser Diode Modue Host with Acrylic Lens 10pcs | eBay )

I will want mine in a module, I dont have a 3.8mm press

Nice of you to offer, 3.8 would be ideal in a module and copper or not won't make a big deal with regard to heatsinking at the low mw of these. I'm thinking for an F23 flashlight.

Will add note to spreadsheet.

As a side note, to Thejoker301, how about sending me 3 contact boards for the previous host group buy with these diodes when they go out. I didn't get them as I had mentioned, you said you were out at the time. - Sending PM also

What module do the PLPB450's get? IIRC, they are 5.6mm wide so they don't fit the 3.8mm. A copper module would be nice :)

I got modules for these too. Not copper ones.

But again , if we get a large amount of people that want copper ones , I can get these from DTR or something.

:)

Re: GB | 515nm Diodes

It would be cool if you could mix in another lens GB. That was one of the best GBs on lpf in recent memory.

Re: GB | 515nm Diodes

Well what's the point of saying that if you aren't going to at least give a price?

Greetings,

That is why I included the link.......$7.58 per lens and perhaps they may be interested in providing a good price if we get 50 to a 100 or so. Those O-like ones were pretty poor, I had to clean every one of the lenses of the 10 I got, and the barrel is a few threads shorter than the normal barrel. These are much better quality and if we are talking about trying to do a group buy, we should see if we can get a good price on these rather than those O-like ones.....

I figured when you said "different provider" you meant something other than ebay. My apologies :)
Have you gotten a quote from them for a large order?

No need to ...

If you guys want lenses too .. I got like 100 at home ... Each will go for $3-$3.5.

Re: GB | 515nm Diodes

What kind of lenses are these? Unmarked, G2 or..?

Like the ones I sold on the GB with Paul back in the day. Single element lenses , the ones I use for all my high power lasers , I call them the S1 lenses.
