How much would cost 1 diode to argentine ? and 2 in the same shipment? do you have acrylic or glass optics and diode housing ? and does it works with a "Flexdrive V5" ??? Thanks glenn

Please don't take this the wrong way, You say you have been lurking for along time, Do you have any knowledge in electronics or lasers ? have you built any lasers at all ? do have any idea how powerfull these diodes are and how quickly they can do harm to sight recepters !
and you are planning on making this your first build :tsk:
I hope not and you are just buying them to keep till you know just what it is you are doing ;) you should ask Glenn if he has any PHR's to start with, they are much cheeper anyway incase you blow it up ;) That is the diode I and many other people here started with :beer:
I hope you have soaked up much info in your time of reading, there is plenty here !

Hey megha, the BR goggles are not near enough protection for >500mW of 445nm I am sure, but the diodes ship to your country for one $51, two for $96 Best Wishes! -Glenn

Of course we can never be certain FP but in hactec's welcome post he does appear to be starting at higher than average knowledge levels. Working with automated welding gear there is a good grounding for eye safety too. It's only right to be asking the questions though! ;)
