Ive tried one of mine and it felt "rough" screwing the lens in, as DTR said, its burrs.

I just screwed the lens in an out a few times, then a shot of compressed air and its all good. I'll try the rest later.

For $2 a shot (and getting extra modules for free) I aint gonna complain :D

I have a few of the taps here. Anybody need to buy one I can supply one at a small fee.

The problem is that copper is such a soft material that when they thread it the "chips" that are created can be pushed up and jammed inbetween the threads. Sometimes an air hose and wire brush will do the trick, sometimes not though. I think running a tap through again should solve it.

Well that's why samples must be ordered first :D Smooth all the errors and then making a huge order. :D

I still haven't got mine so I can't say whether I like them or not but if they are close to the aixiz ones then I see no place for complains.

And further more, those I believe are made according to sketches and diagrams. So just think that AnthoT's caliper has a different error than the ones their are using. I always end up like this when I use a caliper at home and when I make a heatsink with another one. I always end up with a bigger heatsink than I measured at home with my caliper.!

I think for the next order an Aixiz sample must be send to them so they can actually take the measurements themselves and manufacture copies according to those sizes. That's why lathe operators always ask you to send or carry the pipe (host) you are going to use so they can make sure the heatsink WILL fit exactly as you need! Having the real thing in front of you and referring to diagrams is totally different. :)

Just my thoughts :D
No offense to anyone if it sounded like that :D
