well those ones dtr has are 3.8 and 9mm not many lab styles for those.
Thinking if im going to put them on my lathe i would just make them 5.6mm diode holders.
Well its up to DTR and you

will you buy a few extra and make me some 5.6mm ones ? ill compensate you for your troubles etc

Well I did not want the group buy held up and Anthony had all the money tied up in this already so I just sent the money for the replacements and I will keep these for now but Kiy I may take you up on your offer. Shoot me a PM.;)

You might consider putting them up for sale on your store. I would like a few 3.8's for low power builds of 450's. Not sure what to do with the 9mm though, the only 9mm I know of is the new 445 and it would be high power - I'd want a G series lens for those.

Still keep thinking there must be a way to attach a (custom?) focus knob to the G lens and still make them work?

Oh well, the problem is corrected for most of us - but I'd like to help you guys find a way to come out ok on the long versions. Plus, they are actually a neat idea if we could get a lens to work in them - the extra size is a plus except for that factor.

Yeah 1.62mA making 2W is nuts. Now that's what I call a "hottie"

Its a very kind offer thank you  the only issue i see is then after you machine them down the threading will be a bit messed up.... Its a kind offer and i appreciate it very much  i'd +rep you but i can't as i recently did (for the spreadsheet) and the system said no

Its irrelevant now, but its an easy fix, all I'd have to do it run a tap through the top real quick.

Glad to see you got it all sorted out though. Thanks for a great group buy Anthony

That last SH-032 I sold is doing 2W at 1.6A
Not sure why it took so long and me dropping the price to $200 to sell.
I think maybe someone is slandering my builds to people who show interest in them. J/K

Your diode is achieving overefficiency!

I can't wait for these modules to come in either... :D

And to Tsteele, there are 9 mm IR diodes that people may want to use.
