Wow, that is a lot of modules. I foresee a surge in laser buildings. :)

Sweet! Lol Blord that's about 30% of em I beleive :) those are all the 3.8mm and 9mm copper  the rest is its way soon!

EDIT: I hate to break it to everyone but the modules are slightly to long :cryyy:
I want to let everyone know I will be resolving this issue for all the upcoming shipments of these, we may send these back to be adjusted as well as it should be a simple fix for the manufacturer, there may not even be any delay as the majority of them haven't shipped yet. Everyone please trust me ill make it right :) I really will make this right but I need everyone to trust me......
DTR will be posting shortly to show everyone the issue.

Alright guys here is the good and bad on these.

I have tested them with a 3.8mm diode so far. The copper seems perfect. The threading is very smooth and the diode pressed in nice and firm with the can sticking up into the moudle more than enough for a single element G-1/G-2.

Now my eyeballs were not playing tricks on me when I was thinking the modules looked a little long. The threads are too deep for either the G-1/G-2 or the Aixiz lens with a focus adapter on it.:undecided:

Anthony and I will be talking with the manafacturer on getting them fixed and the other orders come in correctly. We are looking for suggestions on how much we should ask them to cut the modules down. I am guessing about 1-2mm plus the hight of a focus adapter.

Here is what I came up with.

Apart from that being one of the sickest pictures I've ever seen... Awww man :(

How long are the compared to the standard aixiz modules?

Is this our fault or theirs?

I could probably shorten them all myself, but we should resort to that as worst care scenario...

Ill have to take the blame for that...... My effort to make them larger for better thermal attributes seriously backfired.... I didn't plan for them to be like this but about 1-2mm longer then Aixiz for more copper, I really messed up. There's no one to blame but me, the manufacturer used real copper, did everything as I said but it was ME..... I am going to get this issue fixed as it is a fairly simple fix.

AnthoT, I am feeling sick to my stomach for you right now! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. Don't feel like you have to carry this all on your shoulders. I know you are doing the "right thing" but don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it.

I think that you know most of us will do what we can to try and help.

DTR, likewise. If we can help on your end in any way, let us know.

And I am with Machinist Joe, those are some wicked pics!

Total laser porn.

I'm sure this will get worked and it will all be fine!

If you told them 1-2mm which you are right was not a good plan still seems off spec of an Aixiz. That G-2 needs probably 3mm at least to screw in with a focus ring on.

Alright guys I do have a fix if you just plan on using an Aixix lens. It requires a some thermal adhesive.

You mix up your thermal adhesive and put it on the very top lens threads. Then you screw on your focus adapter 1 turn. Let it dry and you will have enough to focus just perfectly.

Well, I can do it if need be. For free of course, just the price of shipping...

I am amazed at the support! I was expecting to get slammed! I appreciate this so so much. I really got sick for a second, I was in shock because of my mistake. I calmed down and I'm calm now. It's a great thing to see everyone wanting to help as its truly great and I appreciate it  these will be fixed for the next shipment.
I emailed the manufacturer telling them to trim 5mm. That way they will be identical to Aixiz and there will be no focusing problems and the diode will still fit nice :)

I see DTR has come up with a fix for the ones already to long. THANK YOU! Thanks to all you I am much calmer now :) I really will do my best to keep this as on schedhule as it was planned to be :D
Those pictures are really beautiful

Just to see if we can get this right I don't have precision tools to measure but I can tell you measuring the bottom of the inside of the module to the top on both a standard Aixiz and these it appears to be the exact height of a focus ring. Can anyone measure one to see what it's height is?
