I would be in for a good quantity of both 5.6mm and a few 3.8mm ones. Have you confirmed it will be an exact clone of the Aixiz specifically for how far the diode's can protrudes up into the module and depth of the lens threads. I have seen bad clones where the diode sits back further and the can of the diode was flush with the bottom of the threaded area of the module. This caused problems as the single element lenses would not work with them.:beer:

Great. 50 5.6mm and 10 3.8mm for the first round in copper.

Urgh. This would be a great deal if there was somewhere else to find lens springs. I hate using teflon tape. Seems like a waste to buy a 2.50$ aixiz module just for the spring.

Edit- Shoot I meant to say 50 copper modules. Not sure why I put a stinking dollar sign in front of. Maybe because I was thinking about money and how much that would cost and if I have enough money to start buying parts to stock up on. (running low on stuff)

What kind of tolerances are you getting? For these prices I'm worried the tolerances may not be good enough to make a nice press fit.
Also have you found the exact size the holes should be? (Im thinking I saw somewhere that a standard 5.6mm diode isn't exactly 5.6mm?) It might be a good idea to contact somebody else who has made these to get the exact specs.
