Even if it is brass, it's still a better price than aixiz modules...

Which, I know is asides the point, but still.

Yes, but we could have done Aluminum for less and it would have been better than brass! I am with RHD, I would be very concerned if these are brass! I bet DTR would have a heart attack too. I'm sure he would be sitting on a pile of them.

On the other hand, Moh would be sitting back laughing as he went forward with his copper module idea and then proceeded to sell real copper to all of us who had bought brass thinking we were getting pure copper.

Let's hope this is pure copper.

I am going to make sure they are pure copper if not I will pay the extra to get them pure copper myself. I don't want people to get brass when they expect copper, everyone is getting copper I guarantee you

Well.. the problem would really occur if they ARRIVE brass. Not much you can do (or pay) at that point to get them copper.

Best to have that confirmed, clarified, etc, up front. If they say "no, it's really brass", then we can regroup, rethink, etc.

I'm currently speaking with the manufacturer about this.

I'll post back with the copper info

Alright I'll answer the thermal conductivity question short and sweet.:D
It's going to be 310mw thermal dissipation, im not sure what type of copper but it's got 2x better thermal dissipation then aluminum and if I read correctly pure copper is 355mw.

So I think this passes as not brass and mostly copper

G'night everyone I'm exhausted after these last three days and getting 2 hours of sleep yesterday :p

310 W/m·K huh?

Maybe they are pure gold! :D

P.S. In the International System of Units (SI), thermal conductivity is measured in watts per meter kelvin (W/(m·K)) or W·m−1·K−1.
