Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

Not to try to complicate things but just for customs sake and time, would you mind terribly having these orders shipped 1 to canada and the other to the USA?
Because if you have to ship to you then to the USA its going to take around 1-2 weeks to get here.
But if you were to ship directly to a member in the USA shipping would be faster and cheaper due to it would be domestic and more around 3$

Sounds like a good idea...
Are you volunteering? :D

I was going to suggest direct shipping to the US as well. I could possibly help out with distribution if needed. Might as well as I currently sitting on 1/5 of the total order so far.

I would suggest that we have a long term trusted veteran do the actual handling of money. I don't want somebody walking away with $2,000 of LPF's money.

We let it happen with steviedezie, and that can NOT happen again. I lost $50 on that deal....

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

I would be willing to do that for the US members and if say RHD or some other member wanted to take care of the Canadian members and someone over in Europe could take care of those members. We could make the three payments at once and they could ship the correct portions to each of us and we could handle distribution in our respective countries after testing to make sure they are in spec. Just an idea that may speed up delivery.:)

Yeah I was really pissed. Wanted to gut that guy. He stole $300 from me, something along that amount. Little thieving tiny dicked bastard. I had half the mind to drive the 2.5 hrs to San Jose and pay him and his girlfriend a visit and introduce him to my bat.

What's the story with this? Was I gone for this??

He was having a lot of focus adapters machined at an online machine shop. E-machine or something like that. We all decided on and created a design that was nice and then placed our orders with him. When he got all the money he spent it on shit other that the focus adapters. We didn't see our
Money, our focus adapters, or Stevie after that. He'll get what's coming to him one day when this is far out of his mind and he's toying with someone else and he gets shot. You can only play this game for so long before you lose.

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

If everyone doesn't trust me I totally understand as I am relatively new here. I've never scammed anyone and I never will. If people would want the shipments goin to 2 different countries I'm fine with that but the shipping cost will be doubled. I can send everyones money that I've got already to a trusted member if everyone would like that. But it would complicate me ordering them.

I will even openly give the FedEx tracking number on their way here and I will provide tracking numbers to most members shipments of these. I am not spending 0.01$ of this on anything but the modules.

Everyone let me know what you prefer. I like the idea of sending a shipment to DTR for the US orders but for Canadian and international I feel perfectly confident handling them ;)

If it is a group buy your trying to help everyone out. Your not making any money correct? Then just let the trusted member contact the CNC people and notify them he will be placing the order. Shouldn't complicate anything at all... Just a different paypal address.

Like I said it is nothing against you personally AnthoT. Just after the steviedezie crap I would be so much more at ease if dave, DTR, rhd, or someone of the likes handle the payment process. Such as accepting funds, and then finally sending the funds to the machine shop etc etc.

Ok I am perfectly fine doing that. I'm just trying to say I'm not a scammer. I have +feedback on eBay (CandianDealz-2012) 100% I've sold to a few here and none were scammed and always got what they paid for. If RHD would like to take payments that's fine. But I'm just saying, how am I suppose to get trusted if I do this all the time. I'm trying to help by offering good prices on copper modules I found. I understand no one wants to be scammed so I'll do whatever you guys want to feel safe. I've got 2 payments already I'll refund them and they could send it to a different member. The only reason Im a little surprised is because I'm not pointing in any direction of scamming anyone, I take PayPal (customers are protected for 45 days), I'm not asking for money as "gift" im taking it as goods. So it would be stupid on my behalf to not use this money for the modules because everyone would just open a case against me and you'd all win because I wouldn't have proof. So why would I set myself up for failure

Once again I do agree with splitting the shipments, one to DTR and one to me (or someone else in Canada)

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

Yeah I understand your not a scammer. It's just NOBODY thought of stevie as a scammer either. We all trusted him with over $500 worth of our collective money. And he just disappeared.

Stevie never gave us a thought of him being a scammer. He even came to the forum and distributed free 405-g-2 lenses that he had made. He gave me a free $50 dollar lense when he first got here. Then he scammed us

Once again I am not saying you are a scammer, but with a group buy this big I would personally want my money in the hands of someone who has been around a long time.

Your post literally made me dig through years-old threads to find stevedezie which led to bhwollen then more of DarkArmyOfOne and bunch and bunch of other scammers... I never realized just how much drama I missed, holy s**t lol.

But Anthony has a good point that we're protected via Paypal buyer protection for 45 days. Unless he's found a crazy loophole, this shouldn't be a problem (how did stevedezie run away with the forum money, was that via Paypal too?)

Ok,
I just wanted to prove I'm a good guy along with offering the good deals. This way next time I try a GB will we have to do the same thing.... I am perfectly capable of doing this.
Just please understand my point

I also understand your side of the view completely, this is a huge GB and I am relatively new. But. I'm not dissapearing after Sunday evening

Well with the case of bhwollen or the sparkels fiasco they did ship something. That is all that is required as paypal only requires proof of delivery. What was delivered is not their concern unlike eBay where you can say item was not as described.;)
