Another post uncovered that these diodes are actually sample diodes from the manufacture and there is no MSRP on them yet so once released, they may be higher, may be cheaper
I think it is good to order more than one Diode before they might vanish into the corporate only world and re-appear later with some huge price tag. Of course they could also re-appear at 50 bucks too but given the demand for them I doubt that.
What I find very interesting is how these ebay and taoboa sellers managed to get onto the case so far ahead of anyone else.

According to the links they gave it it's 4800 yuan + shipping which is over $800.. So I don't know where they got the $650 figure from, maybe they raised the price. Also, we discussed it earlier in this thread and people seemed to rather want to buy from a more standard site.
EDIT: So it seems that andyf97 have bought some for $600 and will post test result when he gets them. So.. let's buy one from/through him? Or just forget about it and use his test results
