Hey! do NOT run it at 946mA, Mine did not LED, it still runs and I am going to drive it lower.
I had been using it on and off from like 20-60seconds and probably totaling 5 minutes since I built it, last nite it was snowing very lightly and I wanted to get some outdoor shots with it and the 445 rubber banded together
I had stuck them into the freezer for about 10 minutes and they were cold, I put them on top of a brick that had been outside - which I placed on the hood of my van and then placed the lasers on there and ran them for about 3 minutes while I shot photos.
They were not even warm when I was finished. After I got inside had turned the red on and quickly observed it rapidly going dim, thinking the batteries had died I stuck a fresh set
in and it dimmed quite quickly! I waited half an hour and it did the same thing.
So, I am just hoping I can setup a driver for it at lower current now.
I hope you read this!

Got the hosts. The heatsinks fit perfectly! According to LaserCo they are fit for 635 diodes
So the diode is ok with 3.7 volts or does the driver adjust? Your setup was exactly what I was going to do with the 946 setting. You're using a single cell I assume. How much in mw does it provide?

I've got parts for 13 kits that can ship before I leave for vacation. after that, They will have to wait until I get back.
I have added the available stock to the website. If you're able to purchase it, it's available.
All orders placed before Feb 12th will be shipped out before I leave.

I've got laser engraved c6 hosts and cnc machined and black anodized heatsink on the way. Will be here in about 2 weeks, probably less.
