it may appear to be a no-name laser but it looks like high quality to me.

they are NOT a drop shipper-- most everything they offer, they make. Did you see the titanium models?? schweet!!

I have a CNI aries 75 that looks very cheaply made in comparison.It cost orignially over 300$

Gray has better English than me and gets back to me with answers to my qustions quickly...I dont think you will find a better 220mW green with these features at a better price without a lower quality build. I will send you mine to look at if you pay the postage and send it back.---hak

with the tailcap removed it and the charger will just barely fit in the small flat rate box but that does not allow for much bubble wrap.or the free extras

..so the medium box w/ insurance & DC# would prolly be best option=$10.70 plus $5.70 total= that way you get the box it comes in. any body else wanting one???(if the price is right) you will like it......

I cannot speak for Gray but if you wanted one of the ten he may be willing to just ship it straight to you. Also I believe they will meter it and povide that for you before shipping.

Yes, the price is really pretty high if these are cheap lasers in China. Fortunately, they're not. This was talked about exhaustively in the review thread by hakzaw1.

Good question, DINY, this concern for the guys who join the GB is well agreed and understood. The one that hakzaw1 recieved is a general Jetlasers model.

According to my limited sales experience, PL-C 200mw is better choice. It can output up t0 250mw or 280mw or 300mw or higher in most of models we sent out. Certainly i cannot guarantee each can exceed 280mw and i would be pissed off by our engineers who are busy and impatient.

But if any friend interested wants to save $$ and get higher power, 200mw PL-C might be a most cost-effective option. If you seek 200% >280mw or >300mw outputting, 250mw PL-C green laser is still the one.

It's up to you, anyway. My job is to assist in QC and then get some free laser stands and them shipped out to Hakzaw1 upon request.

Have you verified that these lasers actually have an IR filter? If they do and they are still 175-200mW than that would be a good deal but the extra 25-50mW could all be wasted 808nm.

Did you meter these with and without a IR filter Hak?

Do you mean meter it as is then put an IR filter it in front and meter again?? I can do that --but i would be greatly surprised if such a high quality fully compliant laser would NOT have a IR filter--asaik none of those like this come without IR filters and the Jetlasers site says that thiers all do. You could PM Gray yourself-- he responds quick and has been totally honest with me. I will do both and in the meantime will put you on the 'maybe-wants- one' list. (Not binding.)

My offer to ship mine to you for a look-see still goes. And if you get one thru me and it dissappoints, I will buy it back and sell it to another. AFAIK Jet offers pre-shipping metering .

That is the best way to test for IR, though there are a few others. You can use a defrac. grating to "see" the IR on cheap cameras too or if you don't have one of those you can usually see the IR at a distance with a cheap camera too.

I trust you 110% Hak, but not so much with Chinese sellers of pretty much anything (most all of them are not 100% honest, and I've larned that time and time again.) I know Rayfoss says some of their lasers had IR filters when they actually didn't, and seeing as how they get their lasers from this seller (right?) it just makes me wonder.

I really don't need to look at the one you have, like I said before I trust you 110% I wouldn't hold you responsible for a bad deal on a group buy either, especially if you were not making any money on the deal!

Just out of curiosity, would he be willing to sell bare modules? I know I have a few hosts I would like to stick a high quality green module in as well.
