Blue, how does this driver board fixs inside the Kenom LASER Barrel? ::)
The Barrel Head that attach to the Barrel body looks solid to me. :-/

Very good question. actually the head itself is soldered onto the board and the entire thing screws into the top section of the battery chamber.  or as I call it the "driver chamber.  I made it exactly the same size as the board and we may even increase the size of the chamber to better accomodate the driver.  but the main thing was to keep the driver from "moving" inside the barrel once it's screwed together.  Hope that answers your question.

The parts for the prototype are in the mail as I type. SenKat mailed the parts to me w/ a diode i ordered. :p

Sorry for being an idiot but what's the need of this driver on a red laser? I'm in the UK so I'm happy buying 1 or 2 from yew.sir-name. I'm planning a Dorcy DIY (not sure which size yet), preferrably the one with 2 AAA batteries but that shouldn't need a driver should it?

guys above... added to the list finally. ive been busy but have FINALLY finished school for the year. and passed all my exams... some, only just :p


busterhax, the parts will come when they come. :)


pwnstar, no there won't, as I designed these for Kenom's barrels and they have no need for wires. It's not hard to put wires on them :)

How come the PUlsar copes without a driver? I'm hoping to make a DIY Dorcy but one that takes either 1 AAA, 2 AAAs or 1 AA.
