No news as of yet - still working hard to sell off what I've got.
Refunds for postage will also be sent.

Thanks for keeping us updated, I'm sure that's a real reassurance to a lot of people. :)

Senkat, did you get that postage I sent you? When do you think the next round of drivers is going out?

Yup - postages have been received :) Next batch going out tomorrow, or Friday at the latest ! I STILL have a ton of "no-replies" to my emails...looks like some folks don't want what they paid for ? Eh - I will most likely publish a listing of folks that have not replied, and see if that gets them to answer or not :)

The question from here is:

Are you delivering the things you're selling???

I made a purchase to help you raise money.
After months and months, I still have nothing.
and you have not answered my request for status.

this does not require you to come up with any $$ except the postage to send the thing.

I make no excuses - I had just downwright forgotten about yours. A refund will be forthcoming before your 4th July deadline. Sorry :(
Anything else I sell - buyer pays only shipping until it gets there.

Huh?
how could you have forgotten, I've emailed several times - else how would you know of that deadline date? that was in my last email!

You don't need to refund me - just ship it!
unless you don't have it?

here's a refresher of the deal, in case you've lost the details:

1) I agreed to buy a Kenom barrel for $50 plus $5 shipping... in two parts:
$25 prior to your shipping, then $30 upon my receipt of the barrel.
2) You agreed to ship it upon receipt of my $25 initial payment.

That's it, very simple.

I paid the initial $25. That gave you the shipping cost plus $20.

Next step: you mail it to me. How hard is that?

Next step after that: I send you $30.
I'll send it any way you like - Paypal, check, bank transfer... cash even.

But you must first send me the barrel.

Or - do you not have one to send?

Please respond.

Posting info...

To all that are STILL waiting for their fusion drives to arrive...I sent the below message to another forum member earlier, and I hope it explains a little bit about what has happened to delay things on my end a little bit....

Yes - I got back a ton of packages - the post office TRIED to say insufficient postage due to the package "type" They were stating that they were packages, rather than large envelopes - which of course COST more to send. I straightened them out on their own rules (you would think they would check their own rules before calling out someone for breaking them, don't you ? GEESH !) At any rate - I am not certain who all was in that lot - but I did notice some were the BF mailings - sorry, I was a tad hot under the collar and did not document whose packages were delayed - I was simply eager to get them on their way - and to ensure that they not block future mailings of mine. It seems they collected "packages" for over a week prior to notifying me. I guess they have some sort of unresolved issue going on :( Anyways - you should be seeing it soon - if not, PLEASE let me know - I have enough spares that I can resend a few if needed !

Greg

So - that is what has happened to ME this week as far as mailing goes... My postal carrier was under-bid on "my" route - and was replaced. The new person is/was trying to make a name for themselves by catching, "the big, bad, bulk mailer guy who understamps his packages" I guess. Anyways - it is HOPEFULLY sorted out now - for those domestic folks, give it a week before letting me know - the overseas folks, a little more patience than that is what I ask of you please.

Anyone ever hear of Murphy ? Seems that guy was a major participant of this GB !

Senkat, I might be one of the returned ones, I'm not sure. I paid the first weekend you put up the payment info, but mine were assembled so I dunno if you're shipping those too or just the kits first. Anyhow in case you were already shipping assembled ones then I'm probably in that batch.

will these drivers drive the PHR-803T?

Yes, see the first page.
BluRay 12mA to 80mA, Red 80mA to 350mA.
You'll want to drive a 803T at either the max end of the bluray range or the low end of the red range.

You know, I have every reason to believe these drivers are cursed... it seems whoever touches them is unable to do anything with them... drlava had the design but was like "I cba to build these".. so he gave it to BF, who bought all the supplies but was like "I cba to assemble these".. so he gave them to Greg, who assembled them and then was like "I can't ship these".. then eventually on to the postal service which was like "I'm not going to deliver these".. they're cursed with infectious procrastination and horrible luck..
I just hope if I ever get mine that I'm able to build something with them!

Close to being right.. Kenom actually bought the parts and sent them to BF. There is a new generation of these that I laid out on PCB, they are what is being offered as the 'basic' driver in the kryton V2 GB.

I tested ONE that I have made...you MUST test the output prior to hooking them up....otherwise your diode WILL be toasted most likely :( There is no way I can test each one, and they would then be used drivers :p

I have sucessfully assembled a ton of these drivers. the one's that were made for the groove, being a different board layout and such are easier to make.
