FEELER for possible GB on nice but affordable scansets

The source of the scanners in this did not make us happy-
Now I know a new source is coming soon and these will be shipped from the USA.
PPay will be fine - so you are protected- all i know ATM is there will be two makers to choose from and at least one set is offered at 35KPPS- the Industry standard -and if they are a good 35K all you need-- they are being made in China.

Until they get here and time is spent checking them out any prices are TBA.
BUt I think they will be reasonable-

Just to gauge the interest-- this feeler is for a GB of IMO suitable scanner sets for simple projects- beam Pjs- laser harps etc-this thread show how mine worked-

the price per scanset will depend on the numer we order- how many extra parts you need and the cost for me to send you your order once it gets to me.
I can tell you this much- i seriously think you will not do better buying anywhere else.

GBs are not perfect for all. (especially those who cannot wait for the last to pay and for the two shippings to happen)


These are sold as true 12-15K- others sell them and call them 20k-25k or even 30K-
Our forum contact with this Company is a great guy to work with- very honest-helpful and has great English skillz. I got three sent to me and all were well aligned when I got them and no shipping damage either. I think all will be happy with these- those wanting faster sets can ask me to get them a quote- this order can be mixed speed scan sets-

The options are a better show card than the one in my pics-
I added the ilda ribbon to my order too-
i will get pics of all options soon as well as a better idea of the cost.

i had some problems figuring out where one wire went- the seller was super helpful in sending my very good pics of one properly wired-- so after a few facepalms I hooked it up ans all was good..

I am by far NO expert but I feel these are prices like PTs but a quality closer to DTs.
Dragon Tiger Owner learned about building these scanners from working for the same company where I get these- they tell me that he quit and took the design with him.
DTs thenselves have a good rep but the guy in charge does not- he apparently has a problem with folks from the USA which kinda explains why there ATM is NO USA dealer for DTs. I gave up trying to work with him- he re-negged on the deal we had going- put me in a bad spot with all the guys that wanted to get in on my DT GB- his excuse was he thought I was a china buyer and he never sell to guys like me for the same prices as he does to others-- AixiZ tried hard to become a USA dealer- much time was spent tryimg to iron out the details- AixiZ partner Xia spent a lot of time on the phone with DT and they were very dissappointed with DT--and AixiZ has no problem buying stuff like this in large quanitiy.

about the prices-
i will need to know a rough idea of..
how many we wil be ordering
& what extra parts will be needed-
they have more than one show card- one is cheaper & the one I am using for the pics in that thread.

So for a better idea I will apply for a GB of 10 of these 10-15K scansets with all you see in the above pic-

I will deposit everybodies $$ in mny bank and pay for all with one bank transfer & thus just one bank fee for all ten of the buyers- then they will be factory tuned and all sent to me-

I will only inspect for obvious damage and will ship them out & at that point each buyer pays me for the actutal shipping cost to them- So say for sake of argument we need to pay 45$ per set (add iirc 4$ fo a set of replacement mirrors)

we pay 1/10th each per set for all expenses-

bank tranny-( 30 to 45$ is common)
first shipping-
and PP fees4%-

then I reship after each buyer covers that cost.

IF all goes well I will start two more GBs for their 25K AND 35K scan sets.

IMHO these are priced like PT but are a quality close to DTs. These in this GB are great for beamer PJs- laser harps- beam tables etc- but you need faster KPPS for smoother animations and graphics.


Payments to me can be via PP but if you can do a personal check- bank check or best of all a USPS MO. That would be both better/faster and also cheaper for you.

These GBs take a lot of time and running around to ship and do the banking- round trips are about 33 miles- so each one will cost me about 6 $in gas alone.
I would rather do each GB for one speed only- if all goes well i may do a forth GB for mixed (any speed) scanners.

thanks guys- I owe Jason some favors and want to make a nice order for both us and Jason-- I will get with him asap to see if the numbers have changed.
MM smart way for us- Jason sends you what you want direct and you pay him- as a part of the GB- maybe you have some UK friends to go in.. w/you.


I am talking now with AixiZ on carrying these at their web store,, so maybe our order can piggy back with the one to Houston--there is one catch to these scanner sets- we ask that all give their honest opinion on these in a short review-both forums if you can. its Jason who is doing us the favor-

W/O Chuck this GB would take too long to fill out- If asked about the price give out what they will cost off GB- We do our company no favors quoting prices--Good people have lost jobs over shit like that-- If a nice company rep gives you a quote its rude and dumb to contact a higher up and ask for an even better deal-- IMO that is what happened to CherryLee--

For these scanner sets-- IIRC you get two choices on the show card- one must be better as it did cost more- I will get all the details- specs etc and MAY move this off open forum and down to ROG- sending you both an invite if that has not already been done.. At ROG we are working on and need some help with modding/hacking Pjs into better machines- faster-analog- with end goal- 'street legal' WE that own REEN and Linna PJs need more on DMX control= how to use PC with the efx wheels- more about midi- and shows on SD Cards
one new PJ in this last GB has one -RGB 850mW ttl- only $515 at your door in 72 hrs..

Waiting now to hear back from Jason at CLP-if I can convince AixiZ Laser to place their order with ours we may get an even better deal and'/or a break on shipping- they all could be sent to me or AixiZ first. As extra mirrors are very cheap from CLP I will order a spare set for EVERY pair of galvos- You never know when you may need one or two.

I hope we get enough buyer to get them for that.

I have sent emails to Jason at CLP - got no reply- just sent another at his Email.
I have not commed with him for a few months now and maybe he is no longer at CLP- will keep trying-- for the prices I was offered i felt we would be getting quality close to DTs with prices more like PTs. I will keep trying
