I found a supplier for bulk amounts of the "new style" guidesman flashlight.

14 LED Superlight at Menards

Assuming you could get the host and a cnc machined/anodized heatsink (maybe grey to match) for around $10

This host is obviously ugly as shit, but I'm thinking at $10 for host/heatsink combos it may be popular for cheap starter builds.

What do you guys thinks?

This won't be a group buy, I'm just wanting to gauge interest before I make the leap for 1,000 flashlights.

Moh are you back in business?

I'd be interested in a few.

P.S. Not sure about ugly, I was pretty impressed when I got old style guidesman. Feels much more solid and well built than most of many flashlights out there.

I'd be in for a few blue ones.. as i never had a guidesman host before.. but their heatsink is bigger than a C6 as far as i remember so its a great price for the combo..

these are the ones pictures in the link above. I don't have a choice. They only come in grey as well.

The supplier has 30,000 of them lol. Apparently a "large US corporation" canceled their order.

I might get a few kits for $10 each. That is an amazing price but 1000 pieces isn't that a little daunting ? You would pay couple thousand bucks in advance.

It would be a good buy and I think some people would be interested. But you pretty much nailed it already, that host is ugly as shit for sure lol. But then again I am not a fan of the old Guidesman's either. $10 though for a host and heatsink, I could probably put up with the ugly for that price. And 1,000 does seem like a bit much, but assuming that's how many you need to buy to get a good discount

Personally I like the guidesman hosts. I'd take 5-10 immediately at $10 a piece. Count me in for sure

You have to buy a lot of get cheap prices. I have a certain price in mind and only plan to buy that many if they can get me that price. They probably shouldn't have told me the sob story of having 30,000 flashlights with no buyer, cause now i'm going to rape them on the price since they're desperate to get rid of them.

At that price I'll take a couple.

Edit: Make that three. That really is a good price.

Also, am I the only one who likes the look of the new style guidesman? :p

No! I love them. I have 2 of them at home as lasers and 1 that is a host with a ill fitting heat sink, or else it would be a laser as well. They look very very nice with the un anodized focus adapters Moh sold.

Yeah, those focus adaptors are great. I should have bought a 10 pack when Moh had his closing sale.

I'm not yet back, but I have plans for it.

If I end up buying 1000, ill probably just have focus adapters made to fit this host.

That would be great! Would they also be anodized gray to match the host?
