It's come to my attention that custom laser labels are of interest here.

I have high end printers I can use to print very nice full color labels, and I was wondering if anybody would have an interest in me printing some.

I'd want an initial run of at least 30 stickers or so on one medium. I'm thinking I'd do $1-2 for single stickers and $10-$20 for a whole sheet that you'd have to cut out.

I can make the classic custom laser "Danger" stickers with power, wavelength, and class information for sure. Please let me know what other kinds of labels/stickers you might be interested in.

As far as backing, I've worked with gold metallic, silver metallic, gloss vinyl, matte vinyl, and transparent. Let me know which interests you the most. Also, I'd like to know the size you'd want the most of.

I'll post an example I put on one of my lasers a while ago later.

Edit: For now, members in the US, Canada, and Mexico could be served.

Yes, would love to see these. I've bought a couple 650nm modules extremely cheap online just for the labels. Would definitely buy a sheet or two.

Any idea on the size you'd like? Also, gold or silver? I'm not sure that I have any foil medium left, but I may be able to find an example. I've definitely got transparent medium though.

Finally someone else is doing a sticker! I currently don't need one right now, but once I buy more lasers (when money allows), I'd buy some from you without a hesitation. We do need to see an example however before I'd spend my money :)

Hi,
Awesome would like to see a sample and size comparison great idea we be waiting buddy.

Rich:)

I personally like the silver background. I would be interested in several, but don't want to buy 30 stickers with the same wavelength, power, and laser light color as all my builds are unique and therefore need to be individualized. If I could get them for $30.00 for 30 that would be great. I can provide examples of the stickers I have from NickD070 if that would be helpful.

The 30 number is more for covering materials. I don't need it from one person, but I'll need to be sure I can get around that in initial sales. A sheet would have whatever sticker you want. They wouldn't have to be the same. Yes, I can make a few, but the medium and ink aren't that cheap unless bought in volume.

I'd definitely prefer the silver. A couple of the ones I have on hand are about 19mmx27mm, which is a bit of an odd-ball measurement. The transparent would be interesting, I'm not sure that I'd ever seen a warning label like that. Though my first preferred would be silver. :yh:

I'm looking at some now and they are about the dimensions EP stated. They have silver backing and have "DANGER" in the silver backing in a red ellipse and black background. Below that it is all silver background and says "LASER RADIATION" below that "AVOID DIRECT EXPOSURE" there is a line the color of the laser's wavelength under that with a spot at one end. The wavelength and power and laser class are printed last.

I've prepared some mockup stickers on copy paper. Edges will be more crisp than this, but just to give an idea:

I also need to refine the sources, so I'd appreciate input on these three stickers.

As far as medium goes, turns out I only have black print transparent backing at the moment. Looks okay, but not what I think you guys are interested in. I'll get the medium based upon popular demand and prepare proper examples after we've gotten more feedback.

I like the top one, Rivem. If it could be printed on a silver backing with a self-adhesive on the back by removing a slick paper backing, I'd buy them.

Question; how much for a sticker that had all this information on it

Case negative, 2-18350
1.25 watts 520 nm's
Ndg7475, G2 lens

How much for one, than how much for aprox 100, that were all with different information on them. In a Silver-ish paper, open to something that's looks real professional??

Color or monochrome? Approximate size? Only that information?

Say color,;

yes, only with that information, but it will change depending on what's in the build.

Probably small enough to fit on a c6 host. Maybe 1/2 inch tall maybe 1 inch long.

Come to think of it, going to need different sizes?

Can you give me a ballpark guess-ta-mit for a hundred different labels that all looked the same, (style) with different info on all of them.

Can you do the "metallic " colors in matte finish as opposed to shiny reflective metal foils?

Around that size, I'd say at least $40ish color with every single one being different on a sheet. The major deciding factor would be how many sheets I'd need as well as whether or not you need them cut and shape.

Single price would be $1.75

Maybe. I need to see what sort of medium works for my setup. I'd say what I used before wasn't too shiny though. It was a bit of a middle ground between gloss and matte.
