UPDATE: so this has obviously lost interest for most people. i have only 3 people on the 561nm list becuase one left (for his own, good reasons) and nobody is interested in the other 2, so im going to switch this to a feeler again.

Sorry for being too lazy to read through the thread, but is 5 units the minimum we need to do the GB?

I believe the minimum for discount was 10

Even without the discount, these are still a good price. I feel like at an order of 5 the savings on shipping costs would still make it worthwhile to make the purchase. I'd probably even buy a second one if it meant putting us over the threshold. Just my thoughts...

i agree, getting 10 people to sign up for what was a 5% discount wouldn't be worth it. however i cannot order the lasers for the group buy, so if we found someone to do the actual group buying, that would be best. what we certainly need is some more people to want these lasers, and then we can go from there.

i'm also very interested in the 500mW 532nm labby for 200$, anyone else?

The downside on the GPL is the host with module brazed in and short runtime---if the would do some in PGL-III-M host $20 or $30 more I would go for one.

Did anyone actually quote you $200 for a 532nm 500mW labby? If so which one/which model?
Seems unlikely as Dragon sells them for $850-$1450 for 500mW depending o which CNI model . 532nm Green Laser System

They said they won't do pgl-m LeHap asked already. I went ahead and purchased one at full price. I will be the guinea pig.

Please keep us informed. Full price is not bad---is the shipping that is the killer.

Yea $75 just for shipping. On top of that the other fees to actually send them money. Was $375 in total.

yes, i asked what the most affordable green laser they could offer was at 500mW, they gave me a quote for a 500mW 532nm DPSS for $200, model PGL-V-H-532nm, link to the specifications is in the OP.

However PGL-V-H 532, 500mW come in several variations/different quality level specs--I assume it is worst specs for that price--maybe ask what the specs are for the $200 module + PGL-V-H 532nm is the module only without a power supply.

ill ask about all that, but i think they come with the PSU, however the only version they come with is the one for 500mW because that's the one it needs.
