Daedal, can you run one of these diodes with 250ma's and 350ma's and let me know what the voltages across the diodes are? Thanks.

That is definitely doable once they show up here ;)

Re: Feb. 10, 2008 PAHZORS!!!

Hi daedal, few questions before ordering:
It would be nice to write out basic electrical requirements they require at least here on this thread. Like how much mA they require to start leasing, and can they be used at lower output powers such as 50mW-150mW?

I take you are selling a diode itself without any assembly such as those blueray ones?

I'll definitely be ordering at least 3.

thanks

I believe the lasing threshold on these ones is around 60mA. They can be used at lower powers... but why? ::)

.

Hey,

Am I missing something here???   :eek:                                                                            :-/
I looked over this thread twice, and clicked on the payment page, but didn't see any prices anywhere? (other than shipping)
I know it will show when going to the next check-out page, but unless I am really tired and missed it, maybe a price would be good for those who just find this new GB.
Or BIGGER Prices shown for those w/ poor eye-sight, like me!
       ::)                                                                     ;D
Thanks...

Hey BF,

I guess I wasn't sleeping to hard when looking for the price.
                                     :eek:
Glad to know others don't see it either.

At least it lets me know I wasn't going stupid.
                            [smiley=grin.gif]
Well, about the price anyways.
                 [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Thanks!...

hehe the price is $300 per diode and you can paypal the money to my account!  hehe.

He indicated in the interest gauge page that the phazor's were going to be $30.  IF you all recall that is lower by a long ways than the $40-$50 we initially thought it was going to be.

so to clarify for those that need a visual. $30

AMK- This is what Daedal said in the review thread:

"I pushed one of the diodes up to 700mA and achieved a maximum of 323mW (TEC COOLED) from one before it just gave up and turned into a VERY expensive LED..."

That's why I'll be happy to wait for DrLava's results. Neat system he has there.
I toasted enough LD's for a while ;D
