Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

Bloom, you may want to fix your sig :p

I'm going to do some extra research on 561nm. Based on what I know right now, it should be on par in terms of efficiency with 671nm, but that's obviously not the case...

Edit: aha, less dominant 1122nm line! And some odd coatings... I think you got your facts wrong on that wavelength thread :p PM'ing shortly

Looks like the discount won't happen for 671nm with 5 people left only :(

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

I am going to put here the list of people who are still in the GB based on a couple of PM's I have received.

THE LIST:
PGL-III-C 500mW:
1. Tonyt (would be a stretch for him if we closed early though, also thinking about 800mW instead.)
2. Mhemling33(ready to go)
3. TheDukeANumber1(Wants to close early)
4. Mattronium(haven't heard back from him yet about closing early though)
5. Tman(haven't heard back from him yet about closing early though)
PGL-III-C 800mW 532nm
1. Gismo(ready to go)
2. Wannaburnstuff(ready to go)
3. Eytyxhs(needs more info about shipping costs)
4. Gecko991(ready to go)
5. PhaserII(ready to go)
PGL-III-C 671nm
1. Dr.Laser - 100
2. Wolfman29 - 100mW (needs more info about total cost)
3. Wannaburnstuff - 100mW (maybe)
4. ZRaffleticket - 100mW (no issue as long as price stays below 200 total dollars)
GLP-532
1. Dr.Laser

Correct. It may be a stretch for the 14th as well.. But i am hoping to make a bit more $$$ this week so all should be ok.

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

I have a feeling that due to the many people who have had to drop out of the 671nm lasers that we will not be eligible for the discounted price with those. To clarify for a couple of people who asked me through PM, no I am not taking over this GB, I was simply asking the questions since I had the time and bloompyle had no access to his computer at the time.

Right now we are sitting at 10 people for PGL-532's, 4 people for PGL-671(I see that decreasing by a few more probably), and 1 GLP-532.

Sorry guys :/ I've had a rough week. Been drinking instead of taking these pain meds...**** pain meds (in regards to one of the 671 drop outs)

Kartracer00, no worries man! GB's are all conjecture til near the end. In life, anything can happen, and no one expects you to stick with something under the circumstances. I hope your job works out

I may need to withdraw on the 671 as well simply because I fear the cost will go up again from us losing some people.

C'mon guys this is a really good deal.

I'm in for early termination of the GB, so long as the discounted prices remain.
Any idea of the additional cost for shipping?? Approximate number is ok!!

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

Apparently shipping total would be ~200 dollars, so we split that 12 ways or so and it is less than 20 dollars to get it shipped to bloompyle.

500mW PGL-III-C Price Estimation:
Unit Cost: 210 USD
Shipping to bloom: 20 USD
PP Fees: +3%(7 USD)
Insurance: ?
Shipping from bloom to self: ?

I am figuring about 50-60 dollars overhead for shipping/pp fees/insurance, etc. My guess is take whatever unit you are buying, add ~50 dollars to it and that is about it. International will be a bit more than domestic orders due to higher shipping costs from bloompyle to you.

For the 500mW $210+60 postage is sensational. And for $390+60 for an 800mW is great too!

Don't remind me..building a direct 671nm diode pen later next month though.

What information? Who is this addressing?

To everyone else, before assuming the price escalating, let me ask first.

updating OP...

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

I mentioned that due to the 561nm only reaching 20mW and the 671nm going as high as 400mW. Since wannaburn was around here I figured id mention it ;)

How much does the diode put out?
