i have no idea...i figure that cnc machined items will have a slight bit of oxidation, but since aluminum doesnt oxidize like copper, it shouldnt be too bad...nothing 2 minutes of rubbing compound wont fix.

hey if these do come sort of oxidized, i know im going to be polishing them for myself, I could offer polishing service before i ship out at like $5 for packs of 10 and $2.50 for the 5 packs...this is just a suggestion...i might not be up to it if these prove to be a PITA to polish.

I'd like to just find a polishing attachment for my power drill. For such small parts, that should be totally doable.

I was actually worried that the parts are too small...like the cut lines n such, it would be hard to polish inside of those lines...

even the smallest felt tip for my dremel wont fit those... then again it might not be noticable. the only way we'll know is when they get here.

We'll have a decent sense of when to expect them, because I placed an unrelated personal order with them about 5 days before this groupbuy was submitted by stevie. As of yet, my personal order is still "in progress" and the eta is July 11. Yikes. I'm hoping (for this threads sake) that my being in Canada added a bunch of time the my personal order that it won't add to our GB which is being shipped to stevie in the US.

so far I havent received any additional emails regarding my order. I got a confirmation email stating that it was in the processing stage but nothing else since.

You don't actually get update emails. I go to the site incessantly and request status updates on my order.

I'll probably stop doing that soon. The process sort of seems like it might actually not be automated, but rather actually require that someone check on it and generate a reply email.

ok i did a status request and it said that the job was "in progress" with an estimated delivery date of 6/29

wow rhd, you being in canada added over 2 weeks time to your order...that sucks!!! the funny thing is they are probably closer to you since they are in New Jersey... california is over 2500 miles away on the opposite coast. didnt you say you moved across canada? were you closer to vancouver or montreal?

you got it. There hasnt been much activity as far as changes to any information we already know. ETA shows June 29th and there has been no emails regarding problems or anything so I assume its all good?

edit: In fact, I would actually like to sell you half of mine, unless there are some left unspoken for that need to be filled. If that's the case, I understand, rhd and stevie dont want to be left with extra's, but I'll put 5 of mine up for grabs as well.
