If they are the G-9 lenses or even the fact that they perform on the same level, I'm surprised we don't have more participants in this group buy. $3.55 for a G-9 lens is a better deal than you could ask for.

TLS, you are on the spreadsheet. I still need the country of origin for Visible Green, for calculating the shipping costs. As an update we are at 253 lenses so far. :drool:

oh thats cool, i seen a post where Eitan said 50-250+- lens is $40 to ship to him, i had some kind of feeling that if we went over 250 Pcs the shipping would for example be $65 which would take lens price up .10c or something,
But all is clear now!

Got everybody's country and updated the latest requests. I believe we are up to 267 lenses plus the ones that thejoker301 will order for his stock.

Prices on the spreadsheet will be updated shortly and we will start collecting money on July 1st. :thanks:

That is what the supplier told me :)

I will now ask him about shipping for let's say 400 lenses.

I will update everyone asap :)

I actually have 10 of them at the moment that I ordered for testings.

I will also post results with 445nm laser later today.

Update : According to the supplier , shipping for 400 lenses will be $45. So shipping increased just by $5 if we will reach 400 lenses.

hakzaw1, I won't be shipping these lenses out. They will be going to Eitan, and he will ship them to everyone from Israel. I still work here, but it is no longer "my" group buy. That got turned over to Eitan when we decided that this lens is the better one and also the less expensive one. I am updating the spreadsheet and changing the OP and things of that nature. We are already past the 250 lens mark. My count is 324 lenses, so far. This could hit 400 lenses easily because these numbers don't include Eitan's order.

Just got finished updating the spreadsheet for 324 lenses at $45.00 shipping. These prices are preliminary, and are likely to go down for the cost/ lens and the PP fees as well. Anyone interested in seeing what these prices are based on the quantities I used are welcome to go to the spreadsheet and check them out. :) Paul

Photonz, shipping will be coming from Israel and hasn't been calculated yet. I believe it will be around $5.00 for 1 to 12 lenses and a little more for greater quantities. I think that Eitan will calculate that for everyone on Monday.

Wow! My formula was off and had to redo the whole thing over. Sorry. It is NOW up to date as of 324 lenses purchased. This price is likely to go down as more lenses are sold. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxim, mea culpa.

Are the lenses being shipped to someone in the US to be distributed? Or individually shipped from Isreal? Are the lenses being made in Isreal, or being purchased from China/another country, shipped to Israel, and then individually shipped (distributed) to buyers in the US? Which part of the supply chain is the $45 shipping estimate for?

If the actual supplier isn't in Isreal, why aren't we purchasing from the supplier and shipping them to someone in the US for distribution? It seems really inefficient, adding time and cost to logistics.

What's the estimated lead time on the shipping (as in ETA for product in hand)? I'm interested, but it depends on the time-frame. Do we have a price comparison on this lens to see how much savings are to be had with this, or is this lens unavailable anywhere for individual purchase? Thanks!

IWIRE, your purchase has been updated on the spreadsheet. The lenses will be shipped by DHL four day shipping after payment for the entire GB. As far as I know, the lenses will all be shipped from Israel. If that changes, somehow, you will be notified, but the fastest way for everyone to get their lenses is for them to be shipped from Israel. To my knowledge, these lenses are not available from anyone at this time except through this group buy. :thanks:
