CNI GB Round 2 FEELER

So, as some of you know, I plan to run a round 2 in August.

This is a feeler for said GB. Things I will NOT do.

Send emails to CNI.
Start an order list.
Hold you against falling back on any interest you mention here.
Hunt you down come GB time.

This is interned to advertise said GB, and let people know to save a couple pennies, this will go full swing around the 14th before I leave for SELEM. I will do what I can while in NC, but the post will be built, and emails will be sent, before I leave. While over there the most I will do is read, answer some questions when I call it a night, and keep tallies of orders. I will be pretty busy.

I WILL build a list of what some are interested in now, I will send that list to CNI on the 10th, and update this post with replies. Up until the 14th I will take requests for wavelengths/hosts/outputs. I will also build up the numbers.

When I return from SELEM, I will organize this with all orders counted up, and send any more requests that have come in. The 14th is not a deadline, but it would be convenient. I plan to cost this either on the 31st, or the 15th of September, not too sure yet. That will be decided later.

I still want a 671 someday.

515/520 from CNI is still $500+ last I checked (last GB).

All the previous lasers will be offered. Plus 589, and if interest is there, the combined R+B/V and R+G lasers. Personally, I want an R+V/B not sure which yet, a 671, and an 800mW 532. Not sure which 2 I'm going to get out of that list though.

Give my Round 1 GB a look for ideas of how this will pan out.

They won't be able to. They only have 2-diode hosts and its near-impossible to get anything new out of them.

I'm very likely in for 589nm.

For me to participate whoever re-ships must be able to declare a low cost (10-20USD), send from a person name (not a company) and mark as gift, to ensure there'll be no issue with customs. If it gets taxed here I'll have to pay close to 100% of the declared value and I can't afford that for a 600USD laser. With this procedure at the very worst I'll have to pay some 20USD in taxes (don't worry, they won't be able to verify the true cost).

Some requests:
- >50mW, around 80 or 100 would be great. I'm out if only low powers are offered.
- Permanent (as opposed to temporary) button. This is kinda important.
- No turn-on delay (or at least a very short delay) - FDA approval doesn't matter for me.
- Focusing ability. Not dropping out because of this but it would help me decide
- PayPal. I don't have access to international wire transfers or anything of the sort. I don't mind paying as gift to a trusted member, but I never tried that and don't know if it works.

I REALLY want that 561 from last time but thats just well outside of my price range for now. I imagine that color is beautiful.

$1650. Had several mails back and forth according this.
First I was looking for one around 500mW, but in the end, after talking to the head engineer, we agreed that this combination is best to provide most similar beam specs and diameter with best white resulting color possible:

660-160mW
532-65mW
445-15mW

Yeah it should have been a big boom suprise review back a few weeks ago, but couldn´t afford it.
